For starters, if you bought it for an alcohol buzz, it being 60% alcohol, that's what you'll get ! Alcohol spikes your blood sugar, which causes inflammation and behind all maladies. So, I feel that whatever good 40% is doing, is being negated by the 60% part that is alcohol. I was surprised by that, it simply makes no sense to me...But in fairness, perhaps for those who can tolerate alcohol's effects better, it possibly may ?Best Regards, The Tipsy Tetotaler

My grandma has been taking it to lower cholesterol and it actually worked in combination with a few other herbs, but this one has contributed substantially.
