Better to train shooting at a robber than a paper bullseye!!
Attacks come from people, not big bullseyes on a sheet of paper. For most people, IMO, shooting at an image of a thug, robber, or any human, prepares you better psychologically to be able to shoot a live person (I'm not saying it is ever easy though!). Having someone operate the pulley to make the target come at you from a distance definitely got my adrenaline going! The cartoon targets are just novelty for "fun" target shooting for me. You need a break from killing people 100 times in one sitting, IMO, so shoot some Zombies or whatever! lol Now that i've seen the new "burst" targets that leave a splotch of neon paint at every bullet hole, I'm going to be switching to them. Not having to pull the target in after every magazine load would be very nice. Baker's neon orange bullseyes are much easier to see bullet holes though. After i shot the guy and the Toto dog he was holding, i realized that it was probably MY dog he was stealing!! lol ONE MAJOR CAVEAT- some ranges don't allow you to bring your own targets!! It must be to increase revenue from THEIR targets, IMO. Check with your range first if its the only one near you!!

Fun stuff
Recommendation: Put the target up with the burglar holding the dog for someones first time at the range. The reaction will be great.

Great Mix
Great mix of silhouettes. You get three of each and some have points associated with the different vital areas It's great to take to the range with your friends to establish bragging rights.

These are fun targets to shoot at, and they are good quality and size. Everyone laughs when we bring these to the range... and they are great conversation starters. I recommend them everyone.
