They cut and bend #3 bar effortlessly. I have not tried anything bigger yet.

do yourself a favor and make sure you have at least 2 3/8” x 2” lag screws and washers.

Work Great

Just plain pleasant
It works quite well. It needs a few bends to smooth out due to the thick shipping grease. It does quite well with 1/2 inch rebar in bending and shear cuts. I did a test run on 5/8 inch. It works with a good deal more force required. I trust it will hold up to all my needs. About 4 inches is the smallest between 90 degrees you can do. You will likely have to elevate it for compound bends that are offset. Forming squares of about 13 inch sides went quite well.

Exhausted but it works!
Made 150 cuts and bends in #5 5/8 rebar and need a massage now but it didn’t trick. Wish the handle was longer. Dont forget to lint it to a board for stability.

Workout
These work well but it's a workout not for the faint at heart or slight of limb

Bends and Cuts #3 and #4
As advertised, this bender/cutter bends and cuts #3 and #4 Takes a lot of strength/leverage to work though.

cuts number 5 rebar and bends it with ease
update: June 14th 2023has worked flawlessly and I recently needed to cut several hundred pieces of # 5 rebar and it did so without complaint.other than being slightly faded on the pretty paint as it has stayed outside continuously.I can recommend this model.orig review:heavy duty and stable once you mount it to a 2x8 boardif I had to do this for a living I would invest in a power cutter/bender but I don't so this is exactly what I need
