Ok, Yes it is a few bucks more than most but look at what it does. I searched Amazon and this is the only fully adjustable foot rest out there at this time. You can raise the back, lower the front or vice versa. It is super simple to do and it did come with instructions unlike another review said. But, it is simple to figure out without them. The plastic is very firm and does not look like it is likely to break under normal use of course time will tell and if it breaks I will update this review. As for structural strength, it is there. The plastic is like a nylon in that it is strong. The metal adjusters are well made and are not hard to adjust. Both work simultaneously showing that the construction is good. I do not know why another reviewer had issues. The pad is tied on and does come off. It could be tighter with Velcro later if needed. But, some may want to use this at work with shoes so the pad would not be necessary. As for weight it is not heavy. In fact, the plastic gives it that advantage. The feet are pads of adhesive rubber that might come off but, if you are careful to put them on inside the raised circles they stick really well and so far, have not come off. Perhaps a push on rubber foot might be better but again, it is fine so far. The only negative for some might be the name of the product in Chinese Ideograms instead of English characters. But then, as long as it is no difference to you where it comes from, it is no matter as a company should be proud of it's name regardless of the language. Again, this foot stool is the only fully adjustable like it that I could find in September of 2020. And, it seems tough enough to do what is designed to do. DO NOT stand on it because that is not smart and a way to ask for trouble. It is a footrest not a chair that even though it might handle quite a bit of weight remember what its purpose is. After we use this for a few months I will revisit and update if anything breaks. And one more thing...it arrived on time! Thanks all.

Using this at work under my desk vs a box! Definitely worth the money-

My hubs works at home, and hangs out at the computer forever each day. I noticed he was getting puffy around his ankles. I ordered this for him so he could adjust it how he wanted, either up pretty high, or even just a little elevated to prop up his feet a bit.It’s helped his swelling a lot. And it makes his time at the computer much more comfortable. It’s easy to adjust while he’s working, and it folds up nice and small when he’s not using it. It has a faux leather upholstery, and I’m not sure how long that will last, but for now it looks like very good, solid construction.This would be good for anybody with a desk job, who sits and crochets or knits for long periods, or anybody with lymphoedema and swelling. It’s a good buy for the money.

It's a bit of a narrow stool and the pillow that it comes with is near useless but the height is easily adjustable for all your needs and it works for exactly what I needed it for.You do have to be careful with use, the locking joints aren't very robust and if you bump or move it it's easy to accidently adjust the height or tilt, when it's meant to be stuck under a desk it can be a little irksome to have to crawl down their to readjust the settings.The portability is a great strength of the item however and if you're looking for an on then go option I imagine this would be an outstanding choice.

We just got back from a one month long, 6,000 mile cross country road trip and I survived thanks to THIS!! My legs have been swelling bad over the past year and this allows me to prop them into a perfect angle in our F250 truck, so it completely RELIEVES ALL SWELLING!!! This is a must have for anyone dealing with swelling or back issues!!

this foot rest has many problems , the cushion slides around as its onlt attached by velcro strap anchor points ,it is very small leading you to relax in a confined and dainty way , and it struggles to stay put when you want it to or adjust conveniently . you have to adjust it by hand then place it down and move it around untill your satisfied untill you get extremely adept at how it works and sometimes you can manage to manipulate it into a different desirable positions with your feet . it can be easily moved out of position by accident on both carpet and hard floors because no effort is made to have legs or any kind of non slip staying power , its base is just hard plastic . you cannot push agaisnt it and this reduces alot of ways it could be used . i wish it were bigger and better in every way , the price at $60 is sad and much too expensive , at $25-$30 it would be understandable and even then you would have to look passed the many obvious flaws, AN OVERPRICED NON-PREMIUM PRODUCT

I expected the height could be higher than that. It is too low. It did not satisfy my expectation at all. Disappointed.

This item is absolutely the right item to be used in the rear of vehicle that have adjustable seats, such as a BMW 7 series.Wish BMW offered up a similar accessory...so since they don', this is the next best thing.Bought another to use in the office at the computer desk.Too bad there isn't an electrical powered adjusted version of this....
