Hideaway Horse Music Jewelry Box

I am very pleased with this quaint little jewelry box, purchased as a gift for my step-daughter who loves horses. It's much prettier than the photo can capture & very sturdy. The little "secret" drawers are well placed & unique. It's not a box to store a ton of jewelry in, but perfect for those special baubles that all little girls want to keep in a special place.

It is a pretty box. I question the durability. Maybe I should write you in a year and let you know. When I opened the package, the first thing i noticed is the metal latch was coming off of the box. It will need to be rehammered in somehow or hot-glued. The "latch hardware" is definitely a bit cheap. The painting on the other hand is nice and the corner drawers are appealing to my 7 year old daughter. There is not a ton of storage space, but there are multiple compartments which seems to appeal to young girls.

Beautiful jewelry box. Santa had given this to my five year old for Christmas. She's a huge horse girl and she absolutely adores. The music isn't extremely loud and has a beautiful sound to it. I like how its not like a traditional jewelry box. The drawers are hidden and the picture is beautiful. Love love love

The little box is cute. I bought for my niece for Christmas. Soon after opening it the music box stopped working. It would work if you hit the back of the box and then stop again. My niece was upset and I was embarrassed. I am returning it for an exchange for the brown horse music box. We will see if the second one works better.

I ordered this and Amazon delivered it quickly as usual. However, the music did not play :( I received it on Thursday and I called up right away. I expressed the urgency that I have a new one delivered as I have a birthday to go to on Saturday and I received the new one on Friday. The new one works great and it is very well made. Perfect for a young girl. Amazon's colors showed through as usual! Amazon is definetly customer oriented and one of my favorite sites to shop! PS, I also added little nail polishes in the drawers and barrettes and a necklace on the top shelf.

I bought this knowing that it wouldn't last forever, because I was going to be giving it to a 4 year old girl. It is cute, but there isn't enough storage given its size. The horse is cute and the music is great. It doesn't look as cheap as I feared, but you can tell that it'll need replacing in a year or so with regular use.

We purchased this for our 6-year old. She loves it, and leaves the lid open so she can see the horse and listen to the music. The lid lifts for a bit of (shallow) storage and the side boxes open (fairly deep storage) but that is all. It seems disorganized compared to a big girl's jewelry box; there are no dividers or ways to separate the different types of jewelry. So it's great for a little person who is starting to collect some jewelry but the design is kind of strange. It seems like there is a lot of wasted space. I have doubts about how long it will last because it does not seem extremely durable. These are not complaints, only observations. It was not expensive and it's very sweet. I would probably buy it again after seeing it but my expectations of it and the reality of it did not match.

The Enchantments Running Free Jewelry Box is a wonderful gift for a girl. Any occasion is fine.I purchased two boxes for my two girls,(ages 8 and 12)and they loved them.I also put in a couple of surprises inside of the draws(which wonderfully open at the corners!)and they squealed with delight when they saw them.They also loved the dancing horse that spins in a circle to the music, when you open the top.The box is well made and sturdy.The mirror in the lid is real.It is a wonderful keepsake that they will cherish for years.

This was purchased as a birthday gift for a boy. It was disappointing the item arrived with some tears. I thiught it was a nice gender neutral toy but the condition it came in was poor and I had contacted the business several times with barely getting any response for months.
