Hi Kathy, There are 7 pockets in our travel garment bag. You can fit in pretty much anything and everything you need - laptop, documents, passport in the large outer pocket. You can fit in shoes and underwear in the zip pockets on the inside of the bag. There is also a pocket for jewelry or other delicate small items. We travel ourselves with these bags and they are ideal for short weekend trips and even 1 week long trips if you like to travel light. The carry straps say they are adjustable, but can it be adjusted long enough to carry over the shoulder?

The carrying strap is one length, it’s just enough for your hands. The straps to hold it all together are adjustable.
