Good aftermarket replacement
I replaced a tired OEM starter on a 1986 Suzuki DT40 with this unit. After several fishing trips, it's working great. Good, strong, fast rotation with solid engagement. Couldn't be more satisfied so far.

Great Starter.
I bought this starter for my 18HP Nisan outboard motor since the original finally went out on it. The starter had no problems being installed and worked great after installing it. I have used the boat 4 times since installing it and have had no problems with it on the water, so far so good.

It says it fits Tohatsu motors but it sure did not fit my 90's model
