A friend of Carson Drew’s has been arrested and charged with sending a truck loaded with explosive oranges into the Space Center complex at Cape Kennedy. Knowing that Mr. Billington could not possibly be guilt of sabotage, Nancy and her father rush to the defense of the accused man. During the Drews’ investigation Nancy become suspicious of an old spooky mansion that houses fierce African wild animals on its extensive grounds. Timeless Classics
I remember these books from my childhood. My wife and I selected these for our kids to read as a family at first. Now my kids are reading them on their own. These books are Timeless Classics, that have encouraged my kids to ready more over the years.

Great Christmas gift!!
Nancy Drew books are for everyone, young and old. I am trying to complete the set of books my oldest grown-up daughter requested for Christmas. She started reading this when she was a young child but never had the chance to get all of these mysteries. She loves the stories and the suspense that is created in these books.

Old books are the best
I get so excited every time I receive a book in the mail. Nothing really compares with an old book that you have not read since child hood and then being able to pass it down to your granddaughter who now loves them as much as I did. Thank you for making these books available

I collected the Nancy Drew collection monthly. It was fun but then my mom gave them to my cousin

True to original version and satisfying (with cautions).
My 9-year-old niece is an avid Nancy Drew fan and enjoyed this entry in the series so I bow to her opinion. Here are a few comments from my reading: - This edition is faithful to the original story from the Forties (clearly stated up front) and contains a few racial references and stereotypes that make one cringe nowadays. - The plot seems a bit intricate and complicated for young readers. - If you're sensitive to violence, be aware that there is a shooting involved (but I suppose that's true in many of these mysteries). Other than that, my niece and I both found the book satisfying, and I imagine it's typical of the early Nancy Drew entries.
