Bought this hoping it would work on my older Bosch Stand Mixer. It did not but I believe it is a good product and good design for hand mixers. I gave it to my daughter.

Works well!
I don't know why my hand mixers are crazy powerful, but I was baking Christmas cookies and I had cookie dough EVERYWHERE! So, I found this splatter guard and I am so glad I did! I use a tall, narrow mixing bowl with a handle and this fits very easily on top of it. I put the tab on the side of it over the handle, so I can hold the bowl and lid at the same time (or at least try!). so if you have crazy hand mixers like mine, this product is definitely worth every penny! even if I bake once a year, this is SO much easier than cleaning dough off the walls/floors/etc.!!!

It helps with splattering but you have to constantly stop the mixer because you cant see through the plastic.

Nice idea, but nNot very practical.
Not very useful. Unable to move beaters around bowl like you normally would, so you end up with all the ingredients at the far edges and nothing n the center.

Smart gadget for keeping kitchen clean
This works very well. Less flour and powered sugar flying all over the kitchen when I make cookies. There are multiple "bowl lines" so that it can fit several size mixer bowls.

Effective but tricky
Works fine but a little tricky to set up in such a way that it isn't knocked around by the mixing shaft.
