SamsoniteClassic Leather Backpack, Black, One Size

This backpack is what I’ve been looking for! Didn’t think it would fit a 16 in MacBook Pro but it’s does with ease. Has a ton of other space and compartments, organization and dividers in the main and smaller front area and a small quick access pouch in the front. Also ordered a Kenneth Cole Reaction at the same time and this Samsonite feels like much higher quality. I honestly do not have a single complaint. I think this is my first 5 star review.

This is my favorite backpack for work, looks clean/professional and have enough space to fit my 16'' laptop, water bottle, a whole bunch of cables/charger/battery pack/headphone/wallet and have separate area for my wallet and misc. accessories.The main compartment is a too empty/large, so I purchased a Yoillione Nylon Backpack Organizer Insert, which helps me make use of the available space with additional compartments/pockets for mouse and conference pod. Keep in mind though, the insert takes up a decent amount of space ~30% maybe?The backpack is a bit on the large side, and a bit more expensive than other decent looking options, but it's the perfect backpack for work and it replaced my Kenneth Cole Reaction Manhattan Slim.Unlike the Kenneth Cole Manhattan Slim, I've had this backpack for more than a year, and it's still looks fairly new with no visible wear/damage and retained it's shape. The Manhattan was visible worn and discolored after a year and no longer retained it's original shape perfectly (leather is a lot thinner/softer).Note - I like the Samsonite leather backpack so much I ended up buying a Samsonite Classic Leather Slim Backpack, which is a lot smaller more portable, which is great for weekend use, but not great for work unless you only carry around a laptop.

Great size, color, and quality for a 5’11” person. Fits two laptops, portable screen, mouse, cords, and more comfortably on shoulders.

Exactly what I wanted. My husband bought this for me for our 3rd anniversary (leather). It’s exactly what I wanted for work trips. I love all the pockets for organization. Great carry on size, slips under the seat perfectly. Works great for my laptop, I don’t have to worry about it being protected. Seems very sturdy. I used it on a 2 week long business trip and it held all my day to day essentials and everything I needed on my flights. The straps are surprisingly comfortable and the mesh on the back panel are great to avoid sweat. I have not tried it in any elements yet, but I have been debating treating it with a leather water repellant for extra protection. All in all a great bag.

I love everything about this bag. I am a lover of backpack and I have had a few. It is worth every penny and I do use it every day which confirms its sturdiness. I am only waiting for another year to see if it holds up together as of now. I am very hard on bags so this one has passed the test. The only negative point would be the choice of color. I did buy the tan version since I thought it looked better but I wished I had chosen the black one. I picked up a few scratches going in an out of airport. Maybe a good leather product would restore its original look (suggestions anyone ?) Last but not least, the price is almost unbeatable. I have seen cheaper but I would honestly say slightly lesser quality. Some people might prefer a rougher leather. I do have those two but for now I have been using this bag almos exclusivly. Some people thought it was a Montblanc. Nope ! Good old fashion SAMSONITE.

I’m an IT administrator and need a backpack that looks professional yet has a lot of organization. I’ve generally stuck with Osprey or North Face but decided to take a shot with this Samsonite backpack. It was a good price for a genuine leather backpack. After six months of use: Very happy with the quality, looks and organizational features of this pack. However, the best thing about it: It stands up on it own! I love that. I use this backpack almost everyday and it still looks brand new. I know the leather isn’t full grain, but it looks pretty nice. I rubbed some mink oil into it right when I got it, and it darkened the leather and made it look a little “softer”. Should help keep it looking nice. Great backpack for business professionals.

Convenient business travel backpack with plenty of storage. Just missing an external water bottle pocket for that 5th star.

Literally the best backpack I have ever had. I am in college, and know I’ll need one for my future career, this is going to last me years. It stands up on its own, leather is very good, no smell or anything bad when I first opened it. Pockets are very good, I mean very very good. Zippers are somehow even better. Many stylish details across the bag, very professional. It may seem like a lot, but I think this will be my bag for at least 10 years. If you’re debating between this one and the slim: if you have a bigger or muscular build, go with the bigger, it will fit. Looks good on the back, very tolerable weight. Performance is impecable, could not think it could be made better. Buy it!
