Better comfort, more control, better confidence. Nice color choices as icing on the cake
My personal favorite for all around grip performance. Easier to install and longer lasting than foam alternatives. For reference, I have average sized hands and people with smaller hands may prefer a smaller grip. Most OEM grips have smaller diameters, mild texturing and thin padding. I quickly throw them aside relegated as back-ups.That being said, I prefer grips with a larger diameter for better comfort. The added comfort comes from reducing the amount of hand strain caused by holding onto a smaller grip as well as the additional vibration and impact damping from the thicker molded rubber in this grip.I find that these grips perform better in hotter climates in mitigating sweat accumulation. The channels between the square sections seem to allow better air flow and may or may not allow sweat to move away from your hands. I don't know that to be a fact but the results are less slippage as a result of sweaty hands. I typically wear gloves but with these I feel like i can go for the occasional ride without them and not have sweat issues.Overall the grip texture, gaps between the larger sections of rubber and the increased diameter give me more confidence on the trail and I rarely have to think about discomfort or control at the grip contact point. One less thing to think about makes for better riding and a better experience.

Good value, look and,.
After replacing a couple parts on the bike decided might as well do the grips as well.these grips look great out of the box. the metal is finished nicely nothing to complain about there. the rubber material is comfortable not only for short term use but especially for longer rides too. they hold securely and have not budged a mm since putting them on.couldn't be easier to put on they even include a allen wrench in case someone doesn't have tools. the end caps just pop in and stay secure.there isn't anything i can find fault with which is nice considering the ones i got prior to these were rated well but were garbage. these may be priced lower than some but they feel and look like i paid a lot more than what i did.i can recommend these whole heartedly.

Well Worth the $30
Installation was completely painless and completed in under 10 minutes. All you need is a set of metric hex keys and you're in business. Like many people, my gym has been closed down due to Covid-19. "I may not have access to weights, but I still have my trusty old Trek 3500 for cardio, right?!" I said to myself with nervous laughter. well, not quite. This thing was never a great mountain bike to begin with. Rigid-framed, no suspension whatsoever. I remember it costing me a little over $200 when I bought it brand new about 15 or so years ago. But to a kid, that was a lot of money, and I loved the thing to death. It symbolized freedom, both spiritually and financially... okay maybe I'm waxing poetic here, but I loved that bike. And there it sat in front of me coated in dust, fasteners flecked with rust, grips falling apart, with tires as deflated as my enthusiasm for my lower-middle class job. It was a sad sight, but I wasn't willing to give up on an old friend. It needed and still needs a lot of work. But my first step was to replace the ratty old grips, and the Northshore grip fit the bill. I needed cushy grips to help absorb impact (see reference to lack of suspension) and these work beautifully. Actual grip is also second to none. If you're thinking about purchasing these grips, just do it. They're incredibly comfortable, and maybe they'll help breath some life back into that sad, dusty old bike sitting in your garage.

Didn't get the etched lizard logo
I like these grips. They are grippy and they fit my larger hands nice. Although I was disappointed in the fact that the lock rings were not etched with the lizard skins logo on the lock rings like was pictured. The lock rings were shipped to me being just a solid black with no logo.

My new favorite mtn biker grips!
These grips are awesome! They were very easy to install and I've ridden hard with them on the trails a few times now and they work great. They are a little bit larger in diameter than most grips I've used and they are now my favorite. I feel like I'm in better control and they are definitely good at reducing the vibration to my wrists. I also like the dual locking clamps to keep everything in place! I highly recommend these grips, especially if you have larger hands like I do. If you have small hands you may not like these grips. Ya'll be safe out there! God Bless!

Awesome Grips!
I am a double lock guy - I don't care what anyone says, all of the single lock on grips I have used end up spinning and rotating and all of my double locks do not - period. The large grip sections feel perfect in my hands and the grey is a nice touch and was tricky to find. I would say they are a 'medium' durometer - not hard, but not mushy. The couple of times that I have had them wet and sloppy I have had no issue hanging on.

Me Likey!
My first consideration shouldn't be color, until you try and find anything on this side of the Atlantic that is Orange. OURY no longer makes such a color in Lock-On format. Well, OURY is orange under the black patina from dirt and gloves you have to scrub often to reveal. I've used that brand for decades, (I'm old). OURY isn't just tacky, they're down right gooey. These Lizard Skin North Shore grips are nice and padded, just like the OURY, and unlike RaceFace Half Nelsons, (that also have pretty orange offerings) but are paper thin, wear out in a month, and not so tacky in the wet if you lost your gloves. These are as comfortable as the OURY brand, very tacky but without the gooey black gunk attracting exterior, and even feature a texture, which is fantastic if you have forgotten your gloves and the grips get wet. This is my new favorite grip of all time!

Great replacement grips - better build than pure rubber options
Had these for the past riding season and am overall pleased.Pros:* Slightly thicker than stock grips.* Like the screw on ends rather than rubber stretch and stick scheme.* Decent grip during downhill rides - wet or dry!Downsides:* Wish they were a bit thicker - maybe 2-5 mm more diameter would be perfect. I've got XL hands and these are right on the edge of being thick enough -- though MUCH better than stock.Happy trail riding!

Great Grips
These lock on nice and tight, look good and feel great. The grub screws are in some plastic packaging inside the grips when they arrive. Done a few rides now and they're super comfy and suit larger hands as they're nice and chunky.

Excellent performance. Short durability
Looks great. Very good grip.. but wears down too fast. 8 months heavy use. 12 moderate.
