I have a spaniel who chases shadows and sometimes barks rather shrilly when she is in the garden toileting on sunny days. Despite my good intentions in calling her in when this happens, I was harangued by a large, angry man who thought it acceptable to intimidate me as an elderly woman about my lack of control over my dog’s vocal chords. Having tried an electric collar and sedatives in the past in an attempt to prevent her barking being a nuisance I ordered this muzzle as a last resort as I was concerned it might impair her breathing in the hot weather. It worked, she couldn’t bark and It didn’t appear to cause her any respiratory distress. I just wish there was one big enough for the large, angry man!

Got this stop my dog eating random horse poop. Worked a treat. He's not happy that he can only sniff it, but unlucky - there are much nicer things to eat!

This has quite possibly been the best thing we have bought for our mut. It stops her eating poo, and other foods when out walks. It'll keep her barks to a muffled noise. Its adjustable, and appears soft and comfortable the dog. 1 thing i would say, drinking with this is a not good (its not meant to be) in weather like we are having, make sure you take it off so your hound can drink and pant and cool down.

Brought this for my jack Russell cross breed as he can sometimes bark for hours if it's a knock on the door or a noise in the garden this has done the trick and worked great as a training devise.

Purchased not even a month ago and the extra Velcro fastening has broke off, the clip has also got a crack in it and the elastic band has loosened so that the strap tightness slides loosed when my dog is pulling at the muzzle with her claws. Also, my dog could still whimper and bark while the muzzle was on (yes it was on tight enough). She could even take the muzzle of. A muzzle should be design so that no dog can take it off. I bought this muzzle to stop her barking. She's a patterdale terrier and barks constantly went she's not in the same room as me. My neighbor has threatened and reported me about the barking, so that's why a muzzle was my last resort after everything else failed. Reading all the positive reviews I am so so disapointed. Velcro fastening is NOT a good design for a dog. The Velcro is not a strong Velcro either, its very soft. I am really shocked in the poor design of this. I don't know what to do or buy now after this has failed... Maybe a muzzle that is strong and durable. I do have a bark collar that vibrates and beeps sounds that worked great, but she did start getting used to it and the buying batteries for it wasn't cost efficient.

Bought this for my Alaskan Malamute, as he is not happy with most dogs, especially pugs and Frenchies. Also bought this to protect us as pensioner owners. We've had a good few incidents where other dog owners let their dogs off the lead and come right up to our big dog, barking in his face which is not a good thing, as he will go into a frenzy trying to get at them and as he is unable to do this with us holding him back and with him trying to protect himself and us, we are in the line of fire and have had a few accidental nips. We introduced this very slowly to him by rubbing in on his body and side of his mouth, putting it on, fastening it and tgen giving him a snackie, taking it off again, another snackie and did this for about 3/4 days. He tried to take it off a few times but now he is very happy and it is causing him no issues and he is happy. Good strong quality product.

I ordered a small muzzle for our bichon. I was keen on it at first. However, the quality of this item has turned out to be awful. We had it a week and the material had started to fall apart, rip and the velcro has started to lose its grip. I bought it because I thought it was strong and more durable than other muzzles. Very disappointing :(

Not quite what I expected when I opened it, as it's a fold around the nose, fastened by velcro setup, but when I put it on my beloved "yappy" pooch I realised it's actually easier to fit and maximises comfort for him, as it's very adjustable.My Cocker always feels the need to yap when entering or exiting my block of flats, disturbing my three neighbours in the building, needless to say I put this on him and it's cured the problem, as soon as we are outside/indoors I take it off and he's quiet again! Strange dog.Definitely worth a try if your pooch has a barking disorder.
