Good product with one missing feature
This cover fits my REI Trail 25 pretty well. It keeps the pack dry and mostly stays on. The elastic feels very durable. The missing feature is that there needs be a clip/carabiner/strap in order to attach the cover to the pack. As you can see in the photos, when the pack is not being worn, the cover fits securely on. However, when the pack is worn, the straps of the pack push the cover off the lip of my (and I surmise most) packs. My solution: use a binder clip at the top. Not elegant, but sufficient thus far. I would give this product five stars if I had confidence it would never fall off on its own.

100% recommend!
This is an excellent product; I cannot say that enough! I bike/walk to work and am worried about sudden rainstorms (an issue in my current location). I already had rain coats, but my Ibagbar Canvas Backpack Travel Bag Hiking Bag Camping Bag Rucksack kept getting wet even when using an umbrella, so I bought this guy. My bag says it needed a large, but I decided to get an XL just in case. It works perfectly! My bag has some shape/structure to it so the elastic edging the cover slides on easily and stays on. The cover also has what I believe to be two tie strings if you want to attach it more securely to your bag. The cover packs up small so it lives in my backpack in case of rain.I also ran a triathlon on a rainy day and had no bags to keep my stuff dry at transition. Well, as a last minute idea I grabbed the rain cover; it surely wasn't going to work worse than nothing. I set up all my stuff at transition, but keep all my change of clothes stuffed into the rain cover and with the extra space and the elastic, I folded it over itself like a calzone, hooking the elastic around and under the stuff. It worked like a charm. The rain continued for about an hour, and when I made it back to my stuff it was completely dry!

Great product
I was a little worried when I purchased this. I’d never heard of this brand before and oftentimes cheaper products don’t have as good of quality. I was pleasantly surprised when this came in the mail. It is thin and leightweight. The edge is surrounded with an elastic band, similar to a shower cap or hair net, but seems to be well stitched. I don’t foresee it breaking easily. I have the women’s osprey Fairview 55 which is a 40 L pack with a detachable 15 L daypack for 55 L total when zipped together. I purchased the XL cover so there would be enough room for the total size of the pack, plus room to attach a compression sack with a sleeping bag and pad on the outside, because having a dry pack but a shopping wet sleeping bag defeats the purpose of a rain cover completely. To test it out (I haven’t actually used it yet) I filled the pack and added the compression sack to the straps on the bottom. The XL covered the pack and compression sack perfectly. I also tested the permeability using the sink and I’m happy to say no moisture got through the cover. I even let a puddle of water sit on the cover for several minutes and not one drop of water seeped through. I’m confident this will keep my belongings dry, even in a downpour. I’ve read several reviews saying that it doesn’t have straps to hole the cover on. However, the XL came with two, one horizontal and one vertical. They were adjustable which would allow it to be tighter if my pack wasn’t full or if I didn’t have the compression sack attached. It folds down really small and doesn’t take up much room in my pack when. It being used. I imagine it could be compressed even further if necessary, as the carrying case it comes with does so anyhing to keep out air or compress it at all. Even at that, the XL carrying case is only about the size of two pairs of hiking socks and could be flattened to probably half that size. I’m very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it. I plan to buy a smaller one for the detachable day pack.

Nice fitting cover!
My Osprey pack did not come with a cover so I went looking for one on Amazon. Not wanting to drop $30 on an Osprey pack cover, I looked further an noticed the Joy Walker Waterproof Backpack Rain Cover had very good reviews. I ordered one (orange) for my 44L pack and when it arrived I tested it by holding it under a running faucet. The water beaded up and rolled off the pack. So far so good! Yesterday I went for a hike so with a fully loaded pack I tried out the cover to see if it would fit. No problems!Things I like: Water beads up and rolls off 'cuz nothing's worse than hiking with a soggy pack and wet stuff; the elastic around the cover's opening is very stretchy and stays put; I didn't notice it in the picture, but there's a buckled strap from bottom to top that ensures the cover stays firmly attached to the pack even in howling winds.I really like this cover and would order it again in a heartbeat with no hesitation. I will be ordering another for my Deuter pack because its built-in cover is nowhere as good as the Joy Walker cover.

The larger size has a nice feature
I ordered a small.and the next size up.and tried them on.my 30 liter pack. The smaller size (rated for 15 to 30 liters) fit perfectly well. The design is basically like a big shower cap with elastic around the opening. On mine it stayed in place but did slide part way down the top when worn. It would help but likely let water into the main compartment in a heavy rain. Exactly where it would land on your pack probably depends on the exact configuration of straps and seams. The larger size has a strap running down the middle that allows it to be cinched down. The extra room allows it to come around most of the pack.and stay in place. It looks like it will keep a lot of rain out. They both come with a storage pouch, which.is a nice added value. I plan to buy more of them but will favor the larger size for all but the smallest packs (20 liters or less).

i'm happy with the fit and performance of the raincover
I got the xxl for a osprey atmos 65 (medium) because of the measurements. i'm happy with the fit and performance of the raincover. however, the carrying sack isn't much use. a drawstring bag made out of the same material as the raincover would make a better choice than the velvet cloth used for the bag received with mine.

Prompt delivery. Unsatisfactory size for larger packs.
Arrived as described and very quickly. I brought this XXL cover for an 85L pack that is well within the dimensions described for the cover of that size. The cover itself was quite a tight fit (it would be too small if anything of even a modest size was attached to the external webbing of the pack) and the vertical strap was of insufficient length and even adjusted for maximum length it pulled very tight when buckled, placing a lot of stretch and pressure on the stitching at the top and bottom of the cover when the pack is worn. The item appears quite well made and abrasion-resistant, but unfortunately the sizing needs to be reviewed because the cover isn't suitable for the larger sizes it claims to accommodate.

Worked well to cover my camera backpack on a recent trip to Ireland. Luckily not too much rain, but did use it twice.
