BakeGood Coconut Flour Blend, Gluten Free, 2lb, 1-to-1 Replacement for All Purpose Flour, Non-GMO, Kosher

So I had weight loss surgery 4 years ago, so I do not eat regular flour, etc. because I am on the Bariatric Keto diet. I decided I NEEDED some bread recently and found some recipes for almond flour (And currently doing the Bariatric Keto Restart plan). Some of the recipes called for coconut flour, so I picked up this one up. It worked really well in the recipe I was using. It was packaged well, and tasted great. I am looking forward to making more things using this.

I have been looking for a good flour blend like this! I use coconut flour a lot in my baking but it’s not a flour you can replace one for one. I have been looking for a blend like that that does not have any nut flour in it. I have only used it once in a lie crust and it worked great. Can’t wait to try it with some of my holiday cookie recipes.

The taste was good, slight coconut taste. Only 4 stars because I did need to add liquid more than recipes called for. I made pancakes and the cake on back of package.

If nothing else make the vanilla cake recipe on the package! Amazing!

Like many other reviewers, I overlooked the word “blend” in its title. “Blend” is misleading since rice and sweet potato flour are key components to this coconut flour. I started doing keto a few weeks ago, and I needed half a dozen different baking ingredients for keto-friendly recipes. I put this in my cart after searching for coconut flour and seeing it was a decent price with good reviews. Yes, it’s on me for not reading the label and the ingredients carefully before buying this, but it’s on the manufacturer for only listing coconut prominently in the title and in not being more explicit in what the blend actually is. Since I can’t return it, I’ll give it to a friend with celiac’s.
