Regular bird spikes, I bought them for squirrels that have been mission impossible flipping themselves over the top of my eves to get to my bird feeders. So I put these up side ways so they cannot do that. So far so good. No swinging squirrels. I also put some under my platform feeder so the little demons could not climb the pole then get to that feeder either. They are not strong enough to impale a squirrel🥲 but they are enough to deter them for now. So far me 1 squirrels 0 buwahahahahaha

I live in a NYC apartment with a small terrace. My cat oftentimes will sit along side me enjoying the outdoors. Because she shows excited interest in birds flying by, I have become concerned for her safety (I am 15 stories up). In an attempt to prevent her from venturing out past what I deemed to be safe, I purchased this product. It has solved the problem. I'm enjoying the terrace and my cat is safely enjoying watching the birds.

So the product appears to be pretty good. You insert the spikes (which don’t appear to be SS) into the base (which appears to be SS). That process takes a few minutes on each strip but it isn’t hard at all, it’s pretty straightforward.The hard part is mounting these into tight spaces but that’s no fault of the product (I guess I could trim the spikes). However, there are holes on the base strips so you can drill them into something with screws. That really helps a lot.We’ll see if these hold up to weather with time. If they do the 5 stars stays.

I wouldn't purchase these again. I found better ones later on Amazon and they attached already to a bendable strip which was helpful.

This item was pretty easy to assemble and very easy to set in place. I used a high quality Outdoor Double Stick Tape to the item over the entrance door to my house and over a “dusk to dawn” outdoor light. Now instead of the birds perching, they flutter over the spikes and fly away. No more bird poop everywhere!

Don't work. Birds were able to easily sit next to the spikes. Didn't deter them at all. More bird droppings on our hot tub cover than before. They actually seemed to like the spikes. Don't recommend them at all. Was a total waste of time putting them up. Especially since we had to do this in the winter in Iowa, froze our fingers for nothing!!!! This seller offered to refund our purchase, then refused. Definitely DO NOT PURCHASE from them!!!!!

We had a problem with the birds on our rooftop of our office building eating away at the condenser line insulation for years. We had to replace all of the coverings at least once a year.With these spikes installed over the new insulation, I was amazed to watch the birds circle and circle and they did not land. They still haven't. Our insulation still looks new! Very pleased. It does take work to put the spikes into the frames but well worth it.

These are great! We are currently having a war with two local squirrels aptly named Doc and Arnold. They are very persistent, and not thwarted by normal means. These squirrels are cunning, and have gotten past every other way we've tried to block them. However, when we created "squirreldor" (the squirrel equivalent to Mordor) they can no longer steal birdseed from our poor birds! Completely worth it, strongly recommend if you're in a squirrel battle of whits.
