Super fun style! Great value and easy to install. Good quality - I was worried it would feel cheap, and it does not!

In doing a small upgrade for my 1/2 bathroom, it was wayyyy overdue for new lighting! After browsing on the website, including lighting stores, I knew that’s I wanted something that wouldn’t require new wiring/relocating wiring, etc., and came across these. I have one on each side of the decorative mirror, and a few friends have mentioned “it looks like a hotel bathroom!”

These fixtures look really great and provide a dramatic effect. They are physically sturdy and well finished, however I found issues with the wiring itself. There is no UL listing label for the fixture itself, however the bulb sockets are stamped with the UL symbol. The item description indicates the fixture is rated for a maximum 60 watt bulb, however it comes labeled for a maximum 40 watts. I purchased a pair of these and found one to have a short circuit in its internal wiring which produced an arc causing the circuit breaker to trip when the circuit was energized. I processed an exchange for two more and they arrived the next day. Upon inspecting both fixtures closely I found a similar issue in one of them; the fabric outer jacket that protects the smaller wires as they pass through the metal components had slipped out of place, exposing the smaller wires to possible damage. While both fixtures operated properly when bench tested, I believe this was the culprit of the shorted connection in the defective fixture. The exposed wire’s thinner and delicate jacket may have been cut on the metal fixture body during processing or shipping and caused the short. The outer jacket that had been misplaced would most likely have prevented this. Overall this is a fairly pricey fixture of average overall quality, but it’s unique and offers a dramatic eye catching effect.

General appearance is great, well constructed, good quality. Excellent sheerness.Bulbs difficult to find and somewhat expensive.

Needed to replace 2 light bars that flanked a large mirror in the master bathroom. These brushed nickel metal modern, damp rated sconces with easy to find & replace bulbs fit the bill. Hired an electrician to assemble & install them. I used the LED equivalent of 60W bulbs in candelabra base (E12) in soft white color. Everyone who visits loves this upgrade. A 3rd sconce was bought from Amazon for eventual remodeling (removing the large mirror & replacing with recessed mounted medicine cabinets) using the 3rd sconce between them.
