PMP® Exam Prep Book by Master of Project Academy: Get PMP® in Your 1st Attempt!

If you are seeking your PMP designation, this is a must-have resource to accompany only training materials. the curriculum ties closely to the only Master of Academy program.

I like the way this book outlines everything and it provides great information, however, there are too many grammatical errors. I couldn't understand one of the quiz questions because it was worded so poorly. Also, the formatting isn't great and it makes it hard to understand what the headings/main points are.

A book by a PMP certified individual who knows the industry inside out. I have the Kindle version and I will update if I can get PMP at the first attempt.

The grammar and syntax is terrible throughout the book. It's like they published the author's draft version - no proofreading or content checking. I bought the book based on reviews from several credible review websites. I honestly don't know how they rated this so well considering. This book is actually difficult to read. On top of all of that, it doesn't even reference any of the PMBOK! There are no tables/discussions on the inputs, tools, outputs, etc. That stuff is very important for this test! The answers to the quizzes don't explain why they are correct. No idea where the flash cards are as mentioned on the cover. There's on way to get the PMP based on what you read in this book. Waste of time and money.

There is WRONG information in this book, contradicted by the PMBOK and PMI. Author states on page 230, for example, lists management reserves as money reserves and contingent reserves as time. PMBOK clearly states that they each have both money and time components, and that the differences between the them are more significant than just money and time.In addition, the grammar in the book is terrible, making it almost unreadable. It is full of sentence fragments and run-on sentences. It reads as though no one edited the book before it went to print.In any event, do not waste your time or money.

This book, over 400 pages long, is a very complete and comprehensive review of the knowledge requirements needed by a person seeking their PMP certificate. The author reviews how the exam is laid out and the knowledge components a test-taker has to have to navigate through the exam. Finally, the exams located in the back of the book is well laid out and offers the rational to the correct answer. Excellent book for the money.

I purchased this boom to complement the online learning package from Masters of Project. I have to say that the poor grammar, and clear translation errors make it a very tough read. An example of this is provided in the Photo under ‘Assignment of Project Manager”.Oddly, the online experience has been flawless, it’s just this book (that follows the online curriculum) that has these English & Grammatical issues.My suggestion is to send this to a proper editor and release a revised edition of the book, if you wish for it to be a revenue generator for your company.

Excellent book for PMP exam prep. Easy and well maintain example to understand the content. Mind mapping exercise is very useful.

Did not learn anything new. Book contains figures from Pmbok without references.Even errors in the book.Not one to recommend. Better was the e-learning from Xenturion ( xenturiononline.be). Much better and fully aligned to the exam!
