great for what I'm using them for

I prefer Goodyear air hose for its consistent quality of materials. I used this 6' whip hose for the feed line from my air compressor to the air distribution piping in my shop. I also replaced the cheap, 3' PVC hose on my portable air tank with this one. The brass fittings are high quality and I have never had one leak between the threaded end and the compression sleeve. I have had this fitting leak issue with the "green brand" hybrid hose. Rubber hose is heavier than hybrid but more durable. I can trust Goodyear rubber hoses to preform. I have several other Goodyear rubber hoses in different lengths and they all are still flawless after multiple years of service.

I used to buy a lot of Goodyear hoses, but their quality has gone down over the years and I am starting to stay away from them. These connector hoses usually don't see much movement so they should be fine, but I won't buy their longer hoses that are in constant use any longer. They fail way too early, be lucky to get a year out of them before you have a hose with air bubble pockets at he crimped end fittings. That is what happens when you export production out of the USA to China, the quality goes, so the money saved is no savings at all in the long run.

Excellent air hose for the sort run, less than six feet, to my studio connection. It’s rugged, well made. Fittings on the hose are crimped on. Received the fittings well with no air leakage. I bought this to reduce the length of the supply line. Ran this 6 foot hose to a galvanized pipe feeding into my studio where it steps down from a 3/8” nipple to a 1/4” line. Since making this connection my California Air compressor works great.

Great for my portable air tank better than the little yellow coiled up hose

I used this to connect my hose reel to the air compressor. Hose ends appear solid and hose seems durable, especially in my application where it won't see much movement.
