Is the case metal? What is the bath thermometer like

The case isn’t metal. It’s very strong cardboard I believe. It’s durable as it lasted us so far on two trips abroad to Australia and Sri Lanka (including domestic flights). Bath thermometer - I find it to be temperamental - it says the bath water temp is cold when to touch it’s near boiling!

Are these 'No tears' formulas??

All Childs Farm products undergo both clinical testing and user trials to ensure that the claims we make on our packaging are accurate and can be trusted. We make every effort possible to ensure that our products cause no reaction when in contact with eyes, however, like skin, every person is different, and some eyes are just more sensitive to products than others. A ‘tear-free’ formulation relates to the use of more gentle surfactants in the products (which remove unwanted elements from the skin). However, the term ‘tear-free’ can be misleading as it can imply that the product will cause absolutely no discomfort if it were to get in the eyes. This may not always be the case as all surfactants have the potential to cause irritation and different people can be sensitive to different products. Is the packaging recyclable
