WENSHUO Sandalwood handle Tea Mug, Chinese Ceramic Tea Cup, with Infuser and Lid, 13 oz, Matte Grey

I let this sit in my Amazon cart for months because I wasn't sure I'd use it enough since I prefer to buy a large variety of flavored tea bags rather than loose leaf tea.Boy was I mistaken. What a fantastic mug! I cut open a chai teabag and dumped it in the infuser and filled it with hot water from my one cup coffee maker, and it was just perfect.The infuser is nice and deep, so the loose tea stays fully submerged, so that's perfect. I was worried that the infuser would take up too much space in the cup, but when I pulled it out, I still had a full cup of tea, so that's perfect too. The cup itself is gorgeous, the tea stays hot for at least 30 minutes, and I love the lid - which also cleverly doubles as a coaster for the infuser.Definitely buying more of these as gifts!

Yesterday, May 5th, when I moved it from a spot on the counter, the handle just came off... no snapping sound...3. It appears to have cracked where the handle and wood meet leaving a bit of an irregular edged piece of ceramic inside and even with the edge of the wood handle.4. We haven't microwaved it or handled it roughly.5. Could you recommend a glue that might hold it together?6. We don't leave the house much because his immune system is very low so we probably won't be mailing it back. It is past the 30 days after all. We would prefer to repair it.7. We wanted you to know that the cup gave him great pleasure for the 2 months and a half that he used it. The tea made him feel better, lifted his spirits but especially, the simple lines and clear beauty of the cup added to his feeling of being surrounded by loveliness and sense of clarity and serenity.Thank you for making this beautiful cup, We were sorry it did not last and hope we can fix it.N&T

I really love this mug. First of all, it's eye catching. Everyone comments on it. Secondly, it's really great to make tea in. Cleaning it is really easy. No more picking tea leaves out of infuser balls. The mug is comfortable to hold in my hands. The footprint is wide so it's a no go for my mug warmer and forget about putting it in any kind of cup holder but this mug isn't for on the go drinking anyway. It's for sitting around in your hyyge living room and contemplating life as you drink loose tea.It's rather large so you'll have a big mug of tea so make sure it's a leaf you really like. I gifted one to my mother because she loved mine so much. She was so impressed with the box it comes in that she kept it (pack rat).

A friend recommended this gizmo. He raved about how good the tea tasted and he never drank that much tea before. I reluctantly bought it, and it is everything he days it was. I do not know why the tea turns perfect (might be due to the simple steeping container). Anyways, it's a perfect expensive mug just smaller that what I'm used to.

This tea cup is beautiful and a very nice weight but not heavy. It holds 1 1/2 cups of water, adjusting for displacement after the strainer is inserted. The inside of the cup is a lovely shade of light blue. The lid is stable and can be used as a rest for the strainer without tipping over. It would make a great gift for any tea drinker. Even the box is special.

I don't usually do reviews but I was impressed by the quality of this item. It comes in a very elegant gift box. The ceramic pattern is very beautiful and contrasts very well with the wooden handle. The handle design makes it very comfortable to hold without getting burned. The infuser sieve is made of stainless steel which makes it very easy to clean. I also like it better than some ceramic infusers as it is better at filtering out the tea solids. Overall a great product and worth the price. Especially because of the packaging it would make a great gift.

This Tea mug feels great in my hand and it’s comfortable, the strainer is nice and large to hold a decent amount of Tea so you get a nice bold mug of tea. It’s very good quality 💯You won’t go wrong getting one or two, I believe they would make great gifts to anyone that’s Appreciates good craftsmanship and Tea

This was a gift for my son. It is really well made and nice quality feel. Handle is sturdy, and the cup itself with the tea strainer are really nice. Son loved it! And he is very particular.

Love this product! Not cheap but I use it practically every day for proper tea. Saves on waste instead of having to make a whole pot for just one. Beautiful to look at and how it’s constructed. It’s something that gets a lot of attention in my kitchen from people who haven’t seen it before. Lovely to drink from too and it is good at retaining heat. Easy to clean. I’ve even popped it in the dishwasher.

Retains heat well. Ergonomics are better than you would think as the handle has a spot for the thumb to counterbalance. Spills a little easily.
