ECHO PE-225 Handheld Edger

This edger is worth its weight in gold! Completely transformed my yard. I love it. The steel blade is so sturdy and precise! 10/10

It is a bit heavy to use if the curb is overgrown with runners down to the road .Once you edge the curb then keeping the curb looking good is very quick and easy .It is powerful and cuts well , you will never get behind edging the curb again .I have not tried the walkways as yet but i am sure it does it very easily .My Bermuda grass is the toughest and thickest grass i have seen and it spread from a Golfers house next door and has taken over three other yards and edging is nearly impossible with a weed eater on a corner lot like mine and we could not keep up with it nor my next door neighbor who appears to have given up.The Echo PE - 225 was a miracle we needed to get the curb under control .

This edger is OK, but rather heavy for older people to to use. I have about 800 feet of edging to do around my home and run out of steam before halfway done. It's also somewhat hard to keep it where you want it to edge.I was disappointed with this edger, and ended up setting it aside as a backup option, then bought a walk-behind model.

This edger is just amazing. I feel so bad for the years of going slow and struggling with our last one. I can do all the edging in an hour compared to the 4 hours and aggravation with our old one. Not only is it faster, but the edge is perfect! I have Bermuda grass and it’s tough to keep contained and with a good edge. Our lawn just stepped up a notch with our Echo.It also started right up out of the box. And starts up every time no problem since.
