I am kind of annoyed that I didn't know about these through the "lets make homemade detergent" phase. Lets see why did we turn to making our own? Save money -Check, Decrease harmful chemicals from entering our bodies - Double check because there are no chemicals. Help with the environment - check! These work to clean and the clothes have either no scent or a fresh scent. I use two in each load on hot, warm or cold. Just editing. Ok we have used for over a year now. So still they get 5 stars but I thought it may be helpful to know that socks and undies and anything that gets stains do need to be washed here and there with detergent. Also do not use them with bleach and be sure to clean them in the full sunlight. Still love them. They make a great Christmas gift that keeps on giving in more ways then one.

My clothes come out smelling wonderful and they are clean! My only complaint is the whites don’t come out as white as I would like, I add some Oxyclean and that takes care of it. However, they only lasted me a year. Still worth the money, when I would go though a Costco size bottle of detergent 5-6x a year, and these balls are cheaper than a bottle of detergent. What I like most, I no longer get rashes from the unnecessary scents and dies.

I've been using these for five months now. If you like laundry with clean scent these are not it. But they seemed to be working reasonably well but I was applying stain treatment, too, so I cannot say for sure.However, yesterday one split open and dumped little balls in the bottom of my washer. It took a little bit of time to get them and two got stuck in drain holes. I was able to get one by pressing Dust Cleaning Gel down on it, but the other one slipped through the drain hole. I hope it's not going to screw up my washer!!

I have used these laundry balls for many years. It's hard to believe that they make the clothes clean, but it's true. I love that there are no chemicals. Just leave the balls in your washer, add the clothes and press start. For stains or special problems, treat the fabric with your favorite product. Once a month, place the balls in the sun for a few hours to reactivate them.

Work well. Helps to fluff clothes in dryer as well as softens the laundry.

I love these. I pop two in the washer with my clothes. I dont need soap or anything. If I have a stain that is oil or something like that, I use a bacterial stain remover. This saves me oodles of money. I now have six of them.

The laundry smells fine but it doesn't remove stains.

Great value- I use these for routine loads of laundry and haven’t tried the kids sports laundry yet. I toss them in my front loader with the wash and they do the job. They are odorless and chemical free
