I accidentally found this item on Amazon and decided to purchase for my wife on Valentine's Day. She loves it. When this is shipped, it comes in a keepsake box. It was very well packaged. The lights are do-it yourself, the LED string is wound tightly around the rose for shipping.It does take a few attempts to get it to look as it should - the lights spread out in the glass holder. If I can give any advice in making this easier, try to wind the LED lights in a way they start toward the top and work your way back down and repeat around the rose. There really is not a right or wrong way. I would suggest just not to wrap the lights too much around the rose, the glass will take care of most of the form. Then just carefully place the glass back over the base.The lights do not not appear to get too hot. We run ours usually for a couple of hours in the evening. Using the LEDs continuously (24/7) I would not recommend just for reasons of possible safety as with most electronic lighting. We received the USB corded model, which is quite convienient to have a easy to operate switch without disturbing the base. Overall we are very satisfied with this purchase - a year round gift that keeps giving.

Looks great. I got as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it. The batteries last a long time it barely uses any power. It is fairly bright and looks pretty when lit up. The lights you have to wrap yourself around the flower which wasn't too hard, although they like to slip down not stay near the top. Wish the glass had a way to lock into the base. Might hot glue it in the future as when you pick it up the glass falls off.

Very beautiful, my wife loved it. Only issue is, it just eats thru batteries. I really wish I'd have gotten the electric version. I have to change the batteries every 2 days.
