Pros and cons.
Kids loved it. Great as a set. The mono fin is actually a hard fin but soft tie foot insert. The cloth part of the mermaid tail (fin part) has started to rip after a few uses with the tail inside. I’m weary about a side zipper. I would rather buttons at the bottom of the fin to close it. Either way, beautiful colors. Runs big. I got a 120 and 130 for these six year olds and could of went a size down for both. With it running big, i will say i was able to fold it down inside out to make it fit.

Great Value! My daughter was thrilled!
My daughter had been wanting a mermaid tail for a while now. I was hesitant to purchase a mermaid tail for her because of the cost and my concerns with safety. The only thing she asked Santa for this year was her mermaid tail so we gave in. After browsing the other reviews we decided to go with this one. We liked the fact that it was a 5 piece item. It comes with a cute 2 piece bathing suit, a flower headband, the tail itself and the flipper/fin.First of all, the quality of the material is good. I mean, for what is costs, it's an amazing value. Make sure that the size you get will fit well.I can see the material being compromised if the suit would fit too tight.The fin insert has a soft neoprene material where the feet go. It can be tightened by a lace and it can be adjusted for comfort. We have not had my daughter try it in water since its winter and we are not about to get in a pool. We'll wait on that. For now, it's perfect for her, she's 5 and I have not had to assist her with putting it on or taking it off. She is thrilled with it, she says she truly feels like a mermaid.

The time my granddaughter and I had swimming all that day that was precious
My granddaughter loved it she was supposed to go to SeaWorld on Saturday I received the mermaid tail on Friday and we swam in the pool all day she told her mommy Saturday morning that she didn't want to go to SeaWorld she just wanted to hang out at the pool with Papa and swim with her mermaid tail now that's not sweet I don't know what it is you will not be disappointed it was beautiful and so is she thank you very much you guys made my day

Nice quality, lots of fun.
Ordered this mermaid tail for my niece and she loved it. She said it was a bit difficult to swim in at first, but eventually she got the hang of it. She needed help getting the tail on, but was able to take it off on her own. She is 12 years old. Looks great in pictures and was a lot of fun.

I defiantly recommend this for your little mermaids
Bought this for my granddaughters’s 6th Birthday! She begged for a mermaid tail she could swim in! Chose this one for the colors and what you get for the price. She loves it! It is exactly as shown and fit well. The tail was a bit big but it still worked really well! I defiantly recommend this for your little mermaids!

Poor quality
These are cheaply made. I bought two of them and would be sending them back but my return window has closed. When we finally got to the pool where our daughters could try them, it was difficult to get my older daughter's feet into the fin and then they kept slipping out. It did look cool for a minute when everything was on and working but then we had to unsnap the tail to adjust the fin, etc. etc. The snaps were very tight so I had to pull on the fabric to get them undone and was sure that any second they would just rip out. They didn't but I have no confidence that this outfit will last more than 1 - 2 more times. The material already feels like a swimsuit does when it starts stretching out due to sun/chlorine exposure. The sizing and stitching are off as well. My 5 year old and my 8 year old both seem to have the same size outfit even though they're labeled as different sizes. We already had to restitch the bikini top for one of them - both are ridiculously large for their ages. In short, a waste of money.

Perfect for your mermaid loving girl!!
This mermaid set was exactly what my 10-year-old wanted for her birthday! The size fit well and she has swam with all the pieces except the headband multiple times. She likes the two-piece suit so much it’s her favorite to wear now. The colors were true to the photos. We thought the value was great for a set like this.
