hard to use with a hand drill
I used these to make some rustic log type tables, the main issues are holding the drill steady to start the cut. The taper is too extreme (shallow) to start on a oversized log, there are no instructions on the diameter size range that will work actually no instructions at all. The next issue is the tenons are not smooth and correctly sized, once again due to the shallow funnel angle that lends no support, to make good tight joints. I had to run these in a metal lathe to hold it still enough to ensure the tenon size. I would not recommend these if you plan on doing any real furniture building.

Very efficient tool
Cuts 2 inches ends in seconds. The blade is ajustable to accurately match the size of the hole and the size of the tenon, so they could fit tight. On the first trials, the tenons were too loose for the holes. Easily fixed.Cuts fast. I used it on hard wood so far.
