used this for milk supply
This product has been wonderful! It was recommended to me by my Lactation Consultant. I was an undersupplier and now I make 2-3 3.5oz bottles EXTRA a day. It was a slow progression but by the months end I was making more milk than what my baby needed. Before this product I was only making 20-23oz a day. I paired this supplement with another supplement along with changing my pump schedule from every 2-3 hours to 3-4hrs. I believe all of these items have helped with my success in breastmilk production. It gives no strange after taste. I just mix it with my body armour and call it a day.

Great Product, Works Perfect
When my baby was diagnosed with a tongue and lip tie and not breastfeeding effectively or efficiently, my IBCLC recommended Malunggay. I am very pleased with the results of this herb. I have seen and increase in milk production and combined with pumping once a day, I am able to make enough milk to keep my little one happy and fed until his tongue gets stronger and his tie revision heals. This is a great product and has the most mg of Malunggay that I can find in any brand of capsule.

Really great if you're trying to support your supply!
I used this for the majority of the first 12 weeks of my newborns life! It was easy to take and really helped steady my supply! Obviously there's more than just supplements that help build a supply, but I feel like this helped so much in the beginning! It also came highly recommended by my lactation consultant!

Increased my supply!
At about six weeks postpartum, my supply dipped for some unknown reason. I exclusively breastfeed and had also been pumping once a day so that my husband could occasionally give the kiddo a bottle while I'm cooking dinner, in the shower, etc. With the dip in my supply, Baby was still getting fed, but I wasn't producing enough to pump extra anymore. It was so stressful and I felt like I couldn't step away from the baby for even a minute. After a lot of research, I decided to try this stuff out in combination with increasing my water intake, and I'm very happy with the results! Within a couple of days, I began producing enough to pump an extra bottle, and even begin building a freezer stash by using my Haakaa to catch the increased letdown on the other side while nursing. This has has significantly boosted my supply!

Contains Fenugreek which can actually hurt supply
I have been successfully breastfeeding twins for 10 months. I love Motherlove's Moringa capsules and when I searched amazon to reorder this came up and I accidentally ordered it instead. I tried to return it but there are no returns accepted. I decided to try it and my supply immediately decreased and I don't think I am able to nurse both my twins exclusively anymore. I have found many people and experts that say that Fenugreek can actually hurt supply on some and it appears it has on me. It is unfortunate that this company doesn't accept returns. Then my breastfeeding journey wouldn've have ended due to a misorder.

Update 12 months in...
After being recommended fenugreek by a well-meaning friend (and it not working and causing stomach aches for my LO), I got advice from a lactation consultant who recommended malunggay. She specifically said try malunggay first and if that doesn't work, then mother's milk plus. I never had to use mother's milk plus.It takes time for this to work. Maybe 2-4 weeks. I took 2 per day, per the consultant's recommendation. Look at the instructions carefully; they recommend more if you weigh more, and they advise to only drink 1-2 oz of water at the time of taking it. It was one of those things where I didn't realize it was even working but realized I was supplementing less, and some days none. I decided to increase to (3) pills per day and got over supply.Once it started working, I ran out of pills and thought, maybe I don't need to take this anymore. Slowly but surely I noticed a decrease in supply. I started again and the process started over. 12 months in I still take 1-2 per day.Couple more tips. Read the book "The Breastfeeding Mother's Guide to Making More Milk." Got some real helpful tips. Also, my lactation consultant didn't seem to think I had supply issues. Somewhere along the way I realized that it was a slow letdown issue. In the early days LO would give up if the milk didn't come right away. LO eventually learned to be patient. This meant I tried switching each breast twice and if I still had nothing, I gave supplement - at some point when you have a sobbing baby at your breast, withholding food is just cruel - it's not about one's ego to exclusively breastfeed. LO learning to trust the breast was a combination of giving 2 oz first so that LO wasn't starving and more likely to be patient for a letdown, taking these supplements, and LO would fall asleep at the breast and cough because of an unexpected letdown which would often cause a surprised smile. Good luck with your journey!
