Far surpassed my expectations!
The media could not be loaded. I have a '71 Dart Swinger and was looking for something a bit louder than the wimpy factory horn after a few close calls where the other drivers didn't react to the too-quiet horn at all.I wasn't sure I wanted to commit to an air horn but this one was priced low enough I thought it'd be a cheap way to experiment with where to put one and how to hook it up. I was expecting crap, but it has continued to impress from the beginning. The horn is metal (not plastic like many cheap air horns) and includes a solid, good quality mini compressor and a wiring harness (with good quality, properly sized wires and a waterproof relay), along with a generous length of hose. I ended up mounting my horn vertically on the core support. The install was very easy, and the horn has a good tone and definitely wakes up inattentive drivers without being overly loud and does a good job at encouraging stubborn deer and carrion birds to get out of the road. It isn't a train horn, but it's a bit deeper pitched than your average boat horn. It doesn't split your ears inside or outside of the car but it's substantially louder than the factory horns on modern cars.I thought that there was going to have to be a tradeoff somewhere and it would surely die within a couple weeks, so I've been holding off on writing a review, but now here we are. I live in Texas and park my car outside, and over the past couple months this horn has been subjected to temperatures over 100 degrees and under 25 degrees, and heavy rain in all temperatures. It is as loud and clear as it was when I installed it. I'm really pleased with this horn and will be ordering another one for my next project when the time comes.

Loudest horn I've ever heard
This horn is the loudest I've ever heard in my life. Money well spent.

Excellent overall, BUT...
The media could not be loaded. It is LOUD!! Almost comical considering the car that the noise is coming from! It is really more like a Semi Truck/Big Rig horn more than a train... but oh well that's just splitting hairs. I've only had it installed for a short time, so I can't speak on longevity at this point.THE ONE ISSUE: The relay plug included. As you can see in the photo, Pin 30 is actually bridged over to Pin 86 (the black wires, the loop goes from Pin 30 to meet the other black wire at Pin 86). This setup WOULD work if your factory horn wires were 12-14 gauge... but that's a big "if"!TO WIRE IT PROPERLY: I simply cut the black "looped" wire, coming from Pin 30. I attached a Thick Gauge power wire directly to the battery Positive terminal (with an inline 30amp fuse that was not included), running that power wire to the black Pin 30 wire. The yellow wire from the harness goes onto the positive post on the compressor. The negative post on the compressor must be solidly grounded. Again I used my own, short thick wire for that. The positive factory wire going to your factory horn gets spliced, with the splice being attached to the red wire on the included harness. The black wire (Pin 86) on the harness should also go to Ground, or you could use the factory ground side of the factory horn.NOW: Blowing the horn with the steering wheel sends power across Pin 85 to Pin 86. This activates the Included Relay, letting the direct power wire energy from Pin 30 to connect to Pin 87, the yellow wire going to the positive post on the compressor. The horn sounds! Loudly!!I got the idea because another seller on Amazon sells a harness with that wiring setup. BUT... their harness is basically the same thing as cutting the looped Pin 30 wire as I have done. I ordered the other company's harness but it was the weekend so I did this while waiting for delivery. Now I don't need the harness but I'll keep it anyway.I mainly did this install because my factory alarm Sounds The Horn!!! So a thief would get an earful if he sets off by alarm, plus I'm more likely to wake up/wake up my neighbors if a thief sets it off! I kept both of my factory horns too. There is a way for me to have my horn switch only blow the factory horns while having the alarm blow those AND the truck horn too. I still have to figure that out, so in the meantime, that truck horn will be helping prevent crashes too, as well as theft! It's LOUD, and matches the tone of an 18-wheeler almost perfectly!Would be a great addition to any motorcycle!

Excellent price and it blows very nicely! I just want to hit it everytime I drive, and I wish I two! Thanks!

Not so good
This product is very cheaply made, no pride or craftsmanship at all.And it only lasted 2 days and little compressor locked up internally. And why would you get a air compressor that can't withstand the outside elements.Very,

It's pretty loud
I rigged this in place of the meep meep horn on my 5 ton rollback. I put it literally in place of the factory stuff and didn't bother with the relay, just running through the horn button.Folks notice it, so that's good.

You get what you pay for...
Air producer didn't work after installation. Wiring directions totally wrong. Had to order another motor that creates air!
