Not that I’d normally recommend an upgrade on this particular laptop - there are two RAM slots but they are on the back side of the motherboard, so the laptop has to be about 75% disassembled where the entire board can be flipped up and out for access...but, my computer had started with what appeared to be RAM related hardware issues (multiple blue screen errors in Windows, sometimes page errors but sometimes random) (everything goes through the RAM so the symptoms can and often will be mysterious errors or crashes all over the map in addition to actual RAM related error codes - one time I had bad RAM and it presented as my browser tabs crashing when I opened too many! Basically the parts of the RAM that were running Windows was fine but the more applications or tabs I opened I “filled up” the RAM to the point of the weak spot - and things began to crash). So, In this case I created a memtest86 USB startup disk and ran that to hopefully find out, and sure enough it would fail on several passes near the same location (address) in the RAM. So, I used these Corsair sticks to replace the failing ones in an Asus Vivobook Flip TP510UQ (well, it was probably just one stick failing but it’s best to match pairs, especially for dual channel so I replaced both). So far, absolutely no problems and 100% good. The memory timings are slightly faster than the stock RAM (16-16-16-39 vs 17-17-17-39) but this is no problem (maybe gives the tiniest performance boost) as well. I noticed it says the warranty is voided if you remove their stickers on the chips, and this could honestly be well placed to keep us from seeing which manufacturer’s chips are on the board, but mine have now undergone multiple passes of memtest86 error free and the system is 100% stable again - these sticks are doing their job and doing it well.

Working great in my laptop that also has ddr4 2400 installed in it. Boots up slightly faster, no faults with it so far.

This review is for style: 2400Mhz C16 (Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) 260-Pin SO-DIMM ddr4 2400 (PC4 19200)) I recently bought a used 2017 iMac 27" 5k with 8 GBs of RAM and wanted to upgrade the RAM. Apple advertised that my base i5 model could only max out at 32 GBs RAM (the higher models can go to 64 GBs) but after some research, that seemed to be just a ploy from Apple to sell higher-end models - all iMac 27" 5k models can max out at 64 GBs RAM. Armed with that info, I bought the Crucial RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4 2400 MHz CL17 CT2K16G4SFD824A, but that kit did not work! The specs and fit were right but I could never get the iMac to boot whether I installed the new modules in alternate slots 2 and 4 with the existing modules, or by themselves in alternate slots 1 and 3! Taking advantage of Amazon's easy return policy, I sent the Crucial RAM back and bought these. I installed these in slots 2 and 4 with the factory-installed RAM (in their original slots 1 and 3); pressed the power button (you don't need to hold it down); waited a few seconds (due to the config changes) for the iMac to boot up. Once I was logged in, I confirmed that I now had 40 GBs of RAM. NOTE: Another reviewer suggested that you have to move the factory-installed RAM to slots 2 and 4, and install these modules in their place (slots 1 and 3) - that is good advice and you probably will get a slight performance boost with these new modules in slots 1 and 3. However, I installed the new modules in the 2 free slots (slots 2 and 4) and they worked just fine.

This is an absolutely great product. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a cheap and effective way to bring an outdated laptop into modern times. My entry level 2018 HP now performs with any entry of today’s top of the line laptop. Install installing this upgrade is super easy. It is just a matter of learning how to open up your laptop. From there, it’s simply plug-in play.

UPDATE 8/22/2020: Today my laptop suddenly stopped working and I was able to narrow down the culprit to one of the two Corsair memory modules. Pulling the bad module got my laptop back up and running, although with 8 gigs of RAM rather than 8. I just submitted a ticket to try and get the module replaced. I will add another update after I find out what happens. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was given an HP 15-db0056wm laptop from Walmart as a gift in December and although it was usable it was just barely so. It would take forever to boot, then take forever to get to where you could enter the passcode to get to the desktop, then forever to load the desktop, you can get the picture. After all that was taken care of the laptop was constantly freezing up, even just switching tabs in the browser could lead to a long freeze. The culprit in all this was that the laptop came with one stick of ram and it was only 4 gigs. Pulling the stick and putting in 2 sticks of 8 gigs each (for a total of 16 gigs has made a world of difference) boots up quickly, loads quickly, and apps run much better. Later this week it should get even better when I add a sata m.2 SSD.

Works great and easy to install. Not much to write about RAM. It installed easy, works great and see small improvement in computer speed. Haven’t pushed it yet.

RAM upgrade for HP 14-bp151. Older laptop but still ok. Couldn't handle heavy business apps with only 8gb. Took a few days to deliver but arrived on the stated day. Fitted the 2 sticks. Booted and no issues. Laptop absolutely flies now. Wish I'd got this sooner. Such a difference. I'd recommend checking what the max ram for your laptop is...mine was quoted at 16gb but testing it showed 32gb should work and did perfectly. Very happy with the performance. Feels like a new laptop.

todo muy bien hasta ahorita la instale en una laptop y funciono perfecto, me reconocio 1866mhz al principio, pero esto es por el procesador, la instale en otra lap y medio los 2400 mhz.

J'ai acheté cette barrette pour améliorer les performances de ma Freebox Delta, et je suis totalement satisfait ! L'installation s'est faite sans aucun problème : elle a été reconnue immédiatement, et le gain de vitesse est bien perceptible. La mémoire est rapide et fiable, et je constate une réelle fluidité supplémentaire dans l'utilisation de la Freebox, surtout pour le multitâche. La qualité de Corsair est bien présente, comme d'habitude, avec une construction solide et une compatibilité parfaite. Je recommande vivement pour ceux qui cherchent à booster leur Freebox Delta sans effort.

This is a premium install and a really easy way to significantly improve performance. My computer changed so much it is like working on a different computer altogether. The fan used to run constantly, now it rarely comes on. Programs instantly open! I replaced the 8mb RAM in a Dell Inspiron with this 16mb duo and could not be happier with the results. I would highly recommend this RAM for anyone considering it. Extreme value IMO.
