This one is by far, my favorite meal out of the whole selection and I have tried 98% of it. It’s seasoned perfectly and the amount of turkey included is always generous. I feel satisfied after the meal but never bloated as one can feel after eating beans for example. People who like spicy food will find this a tad bland but for people like me who can’t tolerate chilis, it’s easier to add spices than take them away. Also huge plus for me is that this is a gluten-free meal too. I’ve re-ordered this meal now at least 4 times. It’s that good 🙂.

The flavoring is very mild as expected. They kept it simple. However, I prefer more spice in my food and always add some extra!

Look nothing lile the box and realy were not great. I do recomend the comany and have enjoyed other recipes ive tryed so far.

Very little meat. Not worth the price unless you are Kosher and must eat these products

I love turkey and I love garbanzos/chickpeas but I didn't like this. The color was off putting, the texture wasn't great, the flavor would be okay except for the huge amount of salt in it. This has 1080 mg of sodium which according to the label is 47% of the daily amount. It was way too salty to eat IMHO. I thought it'd be really good costing this much but I couldn't even get past a couple of bites.

with a salad or cole slaw as I had. Flavored well, but a little salty.Also I as an older woman had trouble taking the seal off this and the other one ofthe four I tried.

I had ordered this solely because I wanted a kosher TV style dinner. I had low expectations because Years ago I tried some manufacturer’s boxed kosher dinner and it was awful, tasting as if it came, well, out of a box. This Turkey shawarma on chick peas was actually delicious and I would not have guessed it was a box dinner. My wife and I are very excited to try other dinners from this manufacturer.

These KJ gluten-free meals have been a lifesaver for us. My wife has celiac disease so finding something she can eat is always a worry. With these shelf-stable meals we keep some in the car and wherever we end up I know there is always a safe, nourishing and tasty meal available. Our favorite flavor is the Turkey Shawarma but the Chicken Chow Mein and Rice Stuffed Chicken Breast are also excellent. If you are a celiac or have one in the family I'm happy to recommend these!
