Best 10440 flashlight and 10990 pen light PT10GT acebeam identical. Incredible lumen output
Great small flashlight lots of light and in such a small package. Actually runs on brightest setting for quite sometime. Use it for work on bill of my hat to see into engines and hydraulic equipment components that are indoors and without lighting. It makes my job so much easier. I've been searching for a bright 10440 or AAA battery sized flashlight to use for work in this exact manner. I find trying to keep anything bigger than the aaa size width too much for my comfort in pockets and a waist worn light gets caught up in seat belts and on door handles making for painful or annoying situations. When super brightness isn't the best thing for the task needing illumination then these little guys pack plenty of light for the job and last pretty darn long. Especially on medium mode it lasted over 6 hours and that was with switching between turbo mode and medium. I was very impressed with the driver implemented in this light and the led isn't known for being the best but they've gotten around that and made it work. Also the longer version with the exclusive battery that's I belive a 10990 which means aaa width(10mm) just double the length as if it were two aaa batteries in series. The acebeam was the first light I found to have this exact type of battery and has huge lumen output for a pen light. Puts to shame the lumintop pen light everyone loves so much and by a long shot. This folomov is the samething as the acebeam version exactly the same just offered in both single aaa battery size and dual aaa size both only having one explicitly made Lithium polymer battery with micro USB charging port on battery itself as its intented battery. U can use alkaline aaa or ni-mh aaa two in series but can not ever use two 3.7V Lithium 10440 in series in this light will burn out the led immediately. Don't even try. Their extra long aaa wide battery is plenty of power for this light to work amazingly well. Try for the long pen light version along with this short version they're a great match and useful for most applications, where the small one can't produce enough light the larger pen light can accomidate for you need very well I might add. I use my acebeam pen light to light up the entire backyard of my home with incredible coverage and beam spread as well as beam concentration. Very good balance between the two flood and spot lighting throw. Best aaa flashlights on market today both Acebeam PT10GT and FOLOMOV EDC C1 and C2?(larger one identical to PT10GT)

feature rich little light
Pro: super bright turbo, great UI with lots of options, good beam quality and color, good moonlight, good mode spacing, unique lookingCon: poor heat management (will heat up even on medium and drop light intensity), button easy to accidentally activate (but there is lockout), poor runtime with tiny 10440 Lithium battery, does not take AA batteries.Best use case: dress up or stealth EDC for short period of time

Amazing small light, but need special10440 Li-ion battery.
Folomov C1 is one crazy small flashlight but packed with amazing light output. Compare to other similar AAA sized flashlight this C1 is small! It is easy to carry in your pocket or lady's bag. I wish the flashlight has a small keyring hole so I can clip it to my keys. Not only C1 is small, but it is also the brightest AAA sized flashlight I have at the moment. The package comes with an AAA sized Li-ion battery(10440 Li-ion) that helps to produce 400lumen. 400lumen is slightly less than 40W incandescent bulb. It can easily light up a small room without any problem. The flashlight will not sustain at 400lumen for a long time. I noticed the flashlight will gradually dim down . The runtime of the flashlight lasts more than 1.5 hours then flashlight will continue at really low moon light mode. I have tried with different non Li-ion AAA batteries and none of them worked so far. The included rechargeable battery can be recharged with the included microUSB cable so you don't need to use a separate battery charger if traveling. But I will probably buy a few spare 10440 batteries. There are couple modes you can program with this light to fit your needs. I like my flashlight simple so I leave it at factory default illumination mode. The flashlight comes in a nice metallic container and makes it a great gift for family and friends.

Very bright for a single cell flashlight.
The battery will go dead if not used for several weeks, so don't rely on it to be ready when you need it. Otherwise the light works well and is very bright for a single cell flashlight.

Don’t buy this junk!
Major fail! This thing sucks in all aspects! I was inclined to purchase this light because it Was supposed to be 400 lumens in a small rechargeable package. My 250 lumen stream light is 10 times brighter than this! Aside from that, this p.o.s. Doesn’t even work. I have to screw it and unscrew it to get it to turn on and off. The button literally does nothing. When it finally decides it will turn on, it flickers. Problems began within an hour after being opened.

Very bright and compact .
Useful to me as a compact backup light to clip onto helmet for cave exploration and also to carry on night time dog walks. I am amazed at how bright this little light is for its size. I own many larger flashlights and this one compares to my larger single 14500 flashlights. I like the tail switch operation as I find a tail switch easier to reach than a side switch. It comes with a 10440 lith ion battery and a charge cord and two spare O rings. Built solid enough to withstand the rigors of cave exploration. My first photo shows it clipped to a caving helmet as a back up to the larger caving headlamp. The third photo shows it next to the larger flashlight it compares to , just not quite as far reaching beam distance but similar optics. Super light and compact and a good looking little light. Run times are sufficient for its compact size , the 160 lumen non turbo setting is sufficient light to be able to exit most caves. I continue to be amazed at what current LED tech allows and this compact little beast is an example. Highly recommend, service was fast to my door, a bit quicker than I expected.

Pretty bright
I love the light it’s pretty bright for its size I liked everything about it except I would have liked a small hole at the tail cap for a tassel or lanyard other than that I carry it everywhere I go

Both were defective.
I really liked this flashlight but I realized that after I shut it off, it continued to faintly blink which quickly drained the battery. Sent for a replacement and same thing. Going to look elsewhere.
