Extra wide, extra sturdy. Even held up to downtown Minneapolis winds. However, 2 arms popped out if their rivet within a couple weeks.

Purchased this for my wife as a gift. She says it is her favorite umbrella now. Construction is solid so I think it will hold up well, we have only had it for a few months so I can't speak to this long term. We use it when picking up kids from school so It is big enough to keep the reason off 2 people.

I needed an umbrella that is also a walking stick, I am not a very tall person, it is too short of a walking stick, without a proper walking stick or umbrella handle. how durable it is? only time will tell , do not buy it if you want a walking stick umbrella.

Would have gave it 4 3/4 one of the inner bindings were broken when opened (first time) today. But that's not their fault it happens I'm sure.4 people asked if they could have it as I walked the dog around the block today. And one asked where she could get them cause her mom is photo sensitive as well.So although I would not decline a discount on my next one ;) I have no complaints. (This is a very windy city that tends to break umbrellas easily. Like I'm talking 38c will 100kmph wind. No joke)
