I chose this speaker stand because it allows the freedom to position an Ipad in any orientation, with or without a case. Most stands are inherently devoid of any type of adjustment because they use an interface connection for data transfer. As a result, the majority position the Ipad vertically (my reason for buying a stand was to watch videos). This seemed to be a perfect fit until I tried to use the Bluetooth while watching movies online using a wireless network. The sound cuts out constantly due to interference between the wireless and Blueooth signals (wireless prevails). This is not entirely uncommon but often times cannot be remedied.Aside from the above, it is a well built stand and performs great minus the movie scenario. Mostly easy to use with a decent sound quality. I like the design from both an aesthetic and functional viewpoint. Your tablet doesn't have to fit into the rubber hold downs, it can rest against them. I still recommend this speaker despite the Bluetooth fault,

I love this speaker stand. It was very easy to pair up with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1-2. The tablet fits perfectly. You couldn't get a better fit. I rated this a 4 instead of a 5 because I wanted to order another 2 for my Wife and my Daughter, but I was shocked to see they raised the price up $50.00 (19.95 to 79.95) that is just crazy. Otherwise! This is a great bluetooth speaker and stand. I would recommend this to everyone hopefully you get it cheaper.

I just love getting defective products. Can you say GLUE the darned part into place properly before saying it's ready to be sold?Back to hunting for an affordable bedside table blue tooth solution for my tablets alarm clock function...Sheesh.....

I was very excited about getting the product. But when I tried to put the new iPad air into it it is too loose. I hope they come up with an adapter that will fit the ipad air. I hope the company will contact me and I will be able to get this adapter. I am very concerned that my iPad will fall out. Otherwise I love the concept.

It"s a great piece, I use it out on my patio, kitchen use it on my night table with my ipad as a clock stand. I recommend it.

It is designed to work with Apple iPad 2, 3 and 4 as well as the Samsung Galaxy Tab. I even show a new Apple iPad Air setting in the stand (Although not as firmly as the older iPads) to give you an idea of its capability.The stand is well made and stable and it will hold your tablet in an upright viewing angel so you can read or watch videos on in a lower angle for typing. There is an accessory foot that you can snap into the back to increase its stability. The stand comes with a second set of rubber pads that allow you to convert the stand from an Apple to a Samsung tablet stand. The unit actually firmly held our iPad 2 and 3 units in the stand.The unit includes a built in lithium battery that has 1500 mAh of capacity which means that you can play your music for up to 12 hours. It will take 3 to 4 hours approximately to charge the battery using your computer's USB 2.0 port. The stand comes with:* A brief instruction sheet that is adequate but very poorly written.* An extra set of rubber adapters to convert the unit to a Samsung tablet stand from an Apple stand.* An auxiliary input cable that is 24 inches long* A charging cable (24 inches long) that is a USB connector on one end and a Micro USB connector on the other.* An additional accessory foot you can install on the back of the unit to increase stability.The sound output from the speakers is very good and the volume and music clarity was good. It certainly is much better than just using the Apple iPad speakers. I go over the controls and the Bluetooth pairing process in the attached video. I also play some music so you can hear how it basically sounds. The Bluetooth transmission distance is about 35 feet.Overall I liked the stand. It was solid and it held all of the iPads firmly except for the iPad Air because the iPad Air is not as wide. The sound output was good. It was easy to insert the iPad into the stand. The pairing process for the Bluetooth was fast and easy. I rated this as a 5 star item. Just be aware that the instructions are poorly written but using the speaker and pairing it was simple. Very disappointed in this product. First of all, I didn't receive any of the additional rubber pieces described by the other reviewers. The sound is good but when I tried to recharge it today, the plug pushed right into the plastic case, rendering it useless.Edited 2-24-14 -- After two attempts to contact the company, they did stand behind their product and sent a replacement.
