Great jig, well constructed, very durable holographic finish. Because of the area regulations I had to replace the treble with a barb-less single, replacing the hook took a bit of effort but was very little of a problem, the ring was very tight and you really have to pry something in there to get the factory hook off. A 1/0 Octopus style hook fit really well and the eyelet slid on with no problem. I mainly use these jigs for casting off the beach for Coho Salmon and I can achieve pretty good distance using a M/H 8-foot striper spinning rod combo. These jigs provide great action and their holographic finish is very effective even under low-light conditions, making most colors a decent play most of the time. I've heard a lot of guys have a lot of success vertical jigging and mooching from a boat with these, but alas I have no boat.
