The Journey of Joseph Winter: A Christmas Fairy Tale

I am so glad that I came across Mr. Anthony's Christmas Story. It is a well written book that at its core speaks to the meaning of Christmas and about what truly makes the Holiday special. I very much enjoyed the book and would recommend it without hesitation. We need more stories like this one to remind us what is really important. I was initially drawn to this book by its title. My brother Joseph, a teacher, always spoke of life as a journey. He would have loved this book as much as I do. Thank you Mr. Anthony for this fine Christmas gift which deserves its place among the other Christmas classics. I cannot wait until the next installment when it comes out for Christmas 2018. Read this book. It will warm your heart.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. I love Christmas stories, and everything else about Christmas, but this was a purchase by an author unknown for me, and just because all the reviews are five stars, it doesn't necessarily follow that I will agree with them. I figured it could go either way, but if it went badly, I would be wishing I had purchased a different book. When it arrived I was first impressed by the quality of the book materials, good sized print on nice white paper, not a rinky-dinky size, it was a good start. So I started reading it, and at first I didn't see how this was going to be a real-true Christmas story, but then I found myself on the train with Joseph, Timothy, and Max, and as events unfolded, so too, did the magic of this very uniquely told story of the years most magical time. I thought the changes and realizations that were overcoming Joseph were skillfully subtle, and the heartwarming ways he began to show his changes were memorable. I loved his adventures as the story got nearer and nearer to ending, the magic of memories showing itself as a powerful force in our lives. And I am glad to have the added memory of reading about Joseph, Timothy and Max. Will be rereading in the future, and very happy with this five star purchase. Wish the author would write another one.

There are many Christmas books out there, old and new. I am a fan of genre and selective to the max.This is a book that is well written with characters that wind their way into the heart and mind with the patience of a deft hand. I will be buying many copies next year to give as gifts to families.Unlike others, this is a fresh look at how our choices and the consequences of those choices can pierce our hearts for the rest of our lives. This is the ultimate "what if" book without being overly dramatic and heavy handed.It's also a book for young and old. One to be dusted off the shelf each year to renew the belief in the power of love.What a gift to us all.

A Christmas story that expresses the true meaning of Christmas. This author takes you on a magical, fantastic voyage making you feel like you are right there with the characters. As the story unfolds, you connect with the main character to actually feel the emotions and feel the delight in his learning his true self.

This is a great story about the search for Santa Clause and for self. It was one of those tales you want to continue. It has you liking at yesteryear but at today also. Great story Mr Anthony, thank you. Both simple and complex.

This was every thing a person could ask for in a holiday book. Santa without being a children's book. Love without being a romance and the chance to read about positive change. Joseph was alone, reclusive and angry until he got to go on the adventure of a lifetime. Then he learned of his own self worth and the world was better for it

Warmed this old heart. The book is very well written and keeps you going. I suspect every reader will identify with some portion of it or some character. It's real life in print. I can't wait to read more from this sensitive and accomplished writer.The book would make a wonderful gift for anybody. Children of all ages.
