Excellent though maybe a bit expensive but look at the photos at the top of the page and you'll see that the handle is one piece that is welded onto the two side pieces, with cheaper graters the handle and sides don't have this quality finish. It's large, too, our existing one actually fits inside this one. The slight curve of the sides is a nice touch.My only criticism is the rubber tubing around the base. This will let in water when it's washed making it difficult to dry properly. In time it might be better to discard this rubber base then the cleaning and drying problem will be solved.

The grater arrived without a rubber base. As a result a badly crimped and dangerously sharp steel base was exposed where the thin steel of the grater is rolled over a narrow rail. As a result I sent this item back without delay. Altogether a rather cheap thinly made item which is poor value for money
