Fiesta Yarns Hand Dyed Ballerina Yarn, Wild Oak

I love this lace weight thread! I have had no problem winding it using a swift and hand powered winder...I can only assume that an electric winder would not allow you the control to slow down when needed but my hand cranked one did fine. I have not had the thread break ...not even once in the thousands of yards that I have worked with. I am very satisfied with the colorways that I have bought...I guess because I understood going in that it was a hand dyed yarn and therefore each and every hank would be different to a degree. All that said...I love all of the Fiesta Yarns that I have tried when used in a pattern suitable for that yarn's content and weight (Ballerina wouldn't make good leg warmers and Mythic wouldn't be that great in a lace scarf but both are great products)!

Really pretty thin yarn that is not strong enough to warp my loom with but is a very nice weft.

Very poor quality yarn

Very unhappy with this yarn,very thin, was hard to roll up to use, kept breaking, and ended up in a big tangled mess I spent hours trying to untangle and could not , it should come on a cone would make things easier.

Color deceiving - hardly any aqua!
