So I have the 4 watch winder case from the same company as well and that case is much better. The material used in that case is different from the 8 watch winder used. It had a lot more cushion. The 8 watch winder material is very hard and would scratch easily even from your finger nail. Don't know why they would use different material but I am extremely disappointed. It's a expensive case so it should be made a lot better. Just a fair warning to any future buyers.EDIT : I'm lowering this review to 1 star. The one that was sent to me is clearly defective. It does not stay on for 2 minutes then 12 minutes off for 12 hours on and 12 hours off. It's on its own schedule. Some of my watches died in the winder which should be impossible. I reached out to the company and they were no help.

I like this winder because it's quiet and holds 8 watches.

Two things:First the lid is too close to the watches. Almost half of my watches hit the lid when rotation is happening prevent the winder from turning.Second, while you have four settings, none of them are long enough to keep, again, about half of my watches wond so they keep stopping.The box is very attractive and well made.

Overall this is a beautiful watch winder. I had to reach customer service and they were very responsive and were able to immediately help me. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because it can be a bit tricky getting the leather pouches out of the winder to take off or out on watches. I’d imagine that over time, the leather will get smoother making it easier to take on and off. Other than that it’s beautiful.

This was a beautiful piece for a friend, unfortunately, it was extremely large and they did not have the space for it.

Pillows very tough to get out - don't fit the Rolex watch bands well. A bit noisier than other watch winders. Packaging fantastic. Unit is beautiful to look at. Price reasonable.
