Mounting has to be a bit precise. Only takes 2 more minutes of measure, prepare the drill and then measure again before you drill. My favorite features are the timers.

Needed a small picture light to hang over my dart board. This light fit the bill. However, the remote is garbage. It doesn't work even in the slightest. I read other reviews on this product that highlighted the remote as an issue -- e.g., the remote worked for one month and died. My remote doesn't work at all. Good light if you don't plan on using the remote.

The light works well, it's not as bright as I thought I was getting. The remote works but, you have to be close inorder for it to work. It was easy to mount and put the batteries in. The arms that hold the light away from the wall are fragile, I bent one by accident attaching it to the bracket on the wall. My fault, I should have been more careful. I was able to straighten the arm back, but it's a little down on one-sided.It looks nice, it needs to be brighter.

This looks good above our sculpture; however, the brightness and focus of the light do not do enough to cast any amount of meaningful light on the artwork. I would not recommend if you are using it for something that needs illumination.

The light illuminates the art nicely in a dark corner of the room. The remote control has to be pointed directly at the receiving sensor on the battery pack, which is fine but requires standing and moving about until the line of sight is established. I gave up on installing the light on the wall, and am letting it sit on top of a display case below the artwork, which requires no installation. It's fine.

First of all the light isn't very bright. It barely lights up my artwork. It light up the top not the bottom and adjusting the angle of the light didn't help much. Also, the wall mount for hanging the light, which is on the back of the base, is harder then hell to get off, and the instructions don't tell you now to do it, which is stupid. i must have fiddled with it 10 minutes or so trying to get the darn thing off. i did not mount it with screws. I used 3m picture hanging strips so as not to drill holes in the wall. I used two but I think you could get away with just using one. they do provide a leveling bubble on the base mount to help you hang the base straight so that is a definite plus!!!

Well worth the price if you just want a dim ambient battery-powered light. I don't think it's good for much more than that. The plug-in 8 Watt lights are much better for illuminating art. This is fine for what it is.I was surprised at how close I had to get in order for the remote to work. The range seems to be no more than four feet. I've ordered new batteries for to see if that's the issue. But even that should be adequate to operate a light that's a little out of reach. Also, the built-in level was cockeyed and its use would have resulted in a very crooked mount. Recommended with the foregoing caveats.

Awesome for displaying favorite pieces around the house. Easy to install (comes with the bubble level to help straight installation). The remote will let you turn it on and off remotely, determine the brightness and even set up a timer if you'd like. All and all, money well spent.

please measure as smaller than expected but fits nice over my tv and too expensive
