This set is very pretty, in a subtle way. Colors are definitely more muted than shown in marketing photos, but I was looking for a cream colored background to match my current pillow shams and curtains. I washed it immediately and didn't need to iron after taking out of dryer (with dryer balls) right as it was finished. Easy to put down comforter inside. Buttons can be inserted so they aren't seen once all closed, just pay attention to how they're buttoned on arrival. I don't have an extra pillow, so just used 1 sham for now. GREAT PRICE if this is what you're looking for!

This duvet cover was nicely made, but the shams quality did not match. The trim around the shame was poorly sewn and uneven, very disappointing. The pattern and colors are lovely. I may have just received a poorly constructed sham where other set maybe sewn better. I returned the duvet for that reason.

In the marketing pics the colors look bright and saturated - THIS IS NOT THE CASE! I took a photo with my iPhone & it looks saturated too, but that’s apple auto correcting the picture. I bought this set to replace the sham shown on the right - the WHITE one. Keep in mind, this sham is 20 years old(!), hasn’t been washed recently, and still looks loads brighter than the new one. Anywhere that looks white on the marketing pic is actually a dingy white, not bright at all. The thread count of this set is very thin - can see your skin color through it. Not sure it will make it through very many washes. I haven’t decided if I’ll return it or not as I haven’t fallen in love with anything else. Had I seen this at the store instead of online I would not have purchased it. I like a lot of Madison Park’s designs, but the lack of quality in this set makes me wary.

Was cautious about this because of the other reviews but it was perfect as far as colors & pattern so I went for it. It is really pretty, I love how it looks HOWEVER, it’s not soft at all. I washed it first in hopes it would soften up but it didn’t help much. As far as quality, well I’m on the fence about that; not sure it’s worth what I paid. In the end, I will keep it because I do think it’s beautiful, hoping it will soften as it’s used more and we will see how it holds up 🤞

I kept being drawn to this duvet cover, the colors and design, but was concerned from some of the reviews about the background not appearing to be white.I LOVE it, the colors are exactly what I'd hoped for.My only dislike is how 'rough' the fabric is, but in reality, it isn't rough, I tactile wise, prefer teddy bear softness to most things, and believe that each time I wash it, it will soften more and more. Still very happy with my decision to purchase this duvet cover....my first one, at that.

The design is beautiful - classic, timeless, elegant. The cotton fabric is good, although I have not washed the duvet cover yet, so I don't know how it will look coming out of the dryer.

Wonderful sandpaper bedding. Material feels cheap and will probably fall apart in the wash or the pattern will fade away. Not even worth the time to order and return. Don't bother.

This duvet is exactly what I was looking for. The colors and pattern create the perfect touch for my newly decorated coastal themed bedroom. It's lightweight, yet durable and just the right size for my Cal King bed.

(Using husband's acct here). Bought this to cover a brand new duvet we bought just days before we got a puppy! Duvet went into the cupboard for a few months while pup got house trained. I chose this cover because it goes with my bedroom wall colour and I thought the pattern will disguise the dog's paw prints. The material is scratchy and uncomfortable (only 1 side is 100% cotton) but there's a sheet between us and the cover so it won't bother me. Some reviewers have mentioned that the pattern is not as bright as in the pic for marketing and I agree. The colours in reality are subtle. The background is a pale gray-blue. The pillowcases are too small for regular pillows. I can't use them. Way overpriced for the quality and bad fitting pillow cases. But I was desperate, the pattern was right, and it came in one day!

This is a very pretty duvet cover for the price. It is very soft and comfortable. The background is beige not white as seen in the picture. Overall it is lovely AND 100% cotton!

This bed set looks very cheerful and adds color to the room without being too much. I wish it was wider to drape over my deep mattress.

This is the second time I purchase this duvet for a different home. It's both feminine and masculine and look great in the room
