This is exactly what I have been looking for. It is pretty powerful on the second speed and the noise is not bad at all. On the first setting it is refreshing and super quiet for those times where you are not absolutely cooking.This is not a super robust fan. If you were to drop it, it may come apart and the little hooks which you use to connect the basket to the main body may snap perhaps. It is a CHEAP fan but a very good one if your main concern is staying cool. Plus you can angle it in one direction by a degree. Not as convenient angling as my previous fan, but since this fan is much better I'll take it!

So how do I describe something so simple as a USB-powered desk fan? Well, there you go.Photos are deceptive on Amazon and what looks small in the photo turned out to be a bit bigger than I thought. That's not a bad thing, though I had thought to carry it to work on a daily basis (we hot desk so no permanent location) but that would mean a separate bag as well as my shoulder bag (no, I'm not going to buy a bigger bag just for the fan).As fans go, this is a very nice one and has quite a strong breeze which you can control by the little switch seen underneath the fan in the picture. It angles pretty well and the USB lead is long enough to stretch around monitors etc to a convenient place on the desk. Worth the money.

Neat little thing. Not that powerful but runs off USB so probably limited by voltage. Still effective at cooler you off at your desk. Reasonably quiet.

Got it a couple of days ago at first wasnt hapy cause it's small but after awhile I was really happy because it's very powerfull but. Little noisy on full power

I bought two of these fans a month ago for either side of the bed as both my husband and I get hot at night (not the exciting hot - the old persons hot)! At first they were both brilliant and really super quiet and quite powerful even on the low setting BUT then this week one started to rattle and now it cannot even be used as its too noisy for nighttime. Unfortunately I am outwith the return date so I cant send it back. Just as well it was only £6.99. I was thinking of buying these again for our holiday home but now Im not so sure.

Small and compact good looking fan. Super noisy - wouldn’t be able to have a call on laptop with the fan nearby. Disappointed as other reviews stated was quiet
