So I don't think this really does any actual deodorizing. It's more one of those things that covers or tries to over power the bad odor you don't want. It's a pleasant enough smell if not a little strong but I suppose it needs to be since that's how it works. Some won't mind the odor others will find it too purfumey. It's going to come down to personal preference but what this won't do is leave your shoes deodorized or odorless. Depending on the strength of the unwanted odor you will likely either get shoes that have the perfumey odor of the balls or shoes that have the perfumey odor of the balls mixed in with faint traces of the odor you were trying to get rid of. Hope that makes sense. For what it's worth I still use them. They sit in my golf shoes in my car.

Great product, but I can't give a positive rating since they sent the wrong color. To me, that's not a big deal. However, you should still be receiving the correct item that you are purchasing.

I've been purchasing 'sneaker balls' for the past 3 yrs. They are great weapons against my stinky sneakers, boots, and feet. I've tried a lot of powders and sprays but all those leave a film or a layer of caking in the shoes. The balls are so much convenient to throw from this shoe to that shoe and seem to work for about half a year. I can't tell the difference from one 'sneaker balls' brand and another 'sneaker balls' brand so I just choose the cheapest or value pack. They're cheap overall and worth it.

Wish the smell was stronger. The smell also doesn’t seem to stay with the shoe when you take the balls out. I recommend using a spray or just washing your shoes.

My son has a habit of getting his sneakers wet and not drying them out. And what a stinky mes they become! For his newest pair, we tried these sneaker balls. In the last few weeks, not a single stink from them. Even our entryway smells good from these.

I do not open the balls because I am sensitive to smells and it is strong without opening them. It works. I wouldn't mind another sent.

These are effective odour removers with a pleasant fragrance. Most importantly, they last several months. They can go longer if you do not open the vents - somehow, a bit of the fragrance seeps through and are sufficient for most shoes.
