Cheap & Cheerful
Seems fine. Used for heat shrinking purposes so far, and does the job nicely. TackLife are good products, as I have a few of their items, and this is no different.

Easy to use heat gun.
This is a very useful tool. It has been used to shrink heat shrink sleeving using the supplied attachment (shown in the picture) which is very easy to fit and remove. It was also used remove an iPad screen that needed replacing making the job much easier (A hair dryer doesn't work nearly as well as this).I would highly recommend this Mini Hot air Gun.

Inexpensive, simple to use and effective
The "Mini Heat Gun, Portable 350W Mini Handheld Hot Air Gun, 2M Long Cable for DIY Craft Embossing, Shrink Wrapping and Many Other Projects-Tacklife HGP35A" is from a known but not major brand, 'Tacklife', rather than one that is completely unknown and anonymous. It is clearly not completely portable as mains power is a constant requirement; a mains extension spool of a suitable length will extend its portability.Included with the gun is a 'spoon shield' that acts as both a mini worktop on which the joint can be rested during the heating phase and as a heat shield to prevent damage to anything behind that may be heat-sensitive. Best fitted before use or after allowing the gun to cool for a few minutes as it needs be pushed onto the air nozzle which would otherwise be quite hot. Equally, it should not be touched or removed until completely cooled. The tool has its power switch positioned near to the mains lead and has a built-in stand positioned near to the nozzle. It can, as suggested, be used for a variety of tasks at home or in the workplace, or the packing room to shrink wrapping materials etc. It can be used in crafting including card-making and other related crafts where it is necessary to heat-bond a material to a substrate and for selected DIY needs or to char wood as a decorative feature.A rechargeable one was the much-preferred first choice but none could be found that were also affordable or the expense fully justified. In any event, this provides near-instant heat although it will take a few seconds to reach optimum temperature.

The Smell Goes Away
The prompt to review this popped up an hour after I had just used it, so why not, eh?Others have complained about the smell, often pointing to the plastic shroud as the problem. It is not. The smell is bad but only for the first ten to twenty minutes of use, and is caused by leftover residue from the manufacturing process. If you spend a little time heating it up and letting it dissapate out of an open window, you'll soon have a heat gun that works without odor.As for the product itself, it is small and lightweight making it easy to use. It doesn't provide a massive amount of heat but unless you're trying to strip wallpaper it is sufficient. If you're using the heat shrink attachment, note that you don't want to touch it with the wire (it'll burn). Instead just use the curved shield to bounce the heat back for even coverage and be aware the metal gets hot enough to burn.

Beware, it emits smoke, a lot of smoke!
I used a heat gun Before and never encountered this problem. This gun is SMOKING and I mean real grey Vvisible smoke with a bad odor filling my kitchen, where I do my craft. I only operated it like 10 times, no longer than 40 seconds each time - I was afraid it will trigger the smoke alarm in my flat.
