Tons of problems.
The skin is the color of cement making him look like a corpse. None of the pieces for the display fit so I had to super glue them. The text inside the box has a ton of grammatical and spelling errors, and it makes no sense so I’m to embarrassed to show my friends. Truly a disappointment.

The Other Reviewer's Experience Is Unfortunate But Very Atypical
The Asmus Gandalf the Grey is a world-acclaimed figure and is no longer available new except through those who have squirreled them away. As a collector, I was shocked to see them offered-on Amazon new and at a lower than market (current collector value) price. This is a marvelous 1/6 scale collectible and in the right venues one would see nothing but rave reviews. When this piece was first introduced, the pre-sale was completely sold out on the first day. Looking to the other review, the owner should most definitely not have glued the figure. The item received was clearly defective and it should have been returned immediately upon inspection. The grey "corpse color" referred to occurs when this type of material is exposed to temperature extremes. Someone in the chain of custody didn't keep this piece in climate-controlled storage and that's really unfortunate. Asmus Toys and ToyWiz both make excellent 1/6 scale figures; I have many in an extensive collection and have had very, very few problems. However, no matter how impressed I am with a company, I always immediately inspect a higher-end collectible. If it's not exactly as expected or to my liking, I take photographs then return/exchange it straight away as usually, collectibles in this price range have a modified return window. To end, Asmus figures are top-notch and high-end, the 1-star reviewer had a very unfortunate but also very rare experience. As a collector with many of these figures, my heart goes out to that person, but don't let that review be a discouragement to any other LOTR fans. I have every LOTR figure they make with more on pre-order, they quench my passion, and they bring me joy. I wouldn't have sat here and typed all this out if I didn't believe in my words, moreover, I just don't want other LOTR fan to pass these by. I have no affiliation with Amazon, Asmus or ToyWiz and this was a labor of love; I have a neurological disorder that affects the use of my hands.
