I admit I've only used it once but it appears very sturdyThe reason I purchased this is because the arthritis in both my hands has worsened considerably since last year.Yes I spattered juice but I leave that to my first usage.I thought I would cry when I realized how easy it is to use it to make tomato juice.I thought my canning days were over.The other attachments didn't attract me, but now that I see the ease of use, look out!

This device works great. We have owned a Victorio Strainer and a clacker strainer in the past. This thing is far easier and faster. It does a great job of giving you great pulp from Tomatoes to make tomato sauce.

Before I start, I have used this exclusively for tomatoes.There are a couple of issues I have with this.1. You have to cut the tomatoes up into small sizes, no bigger than 2” and it cannot do whole tomatoes, such as romas or cherry unless you cut them in half, otherwise it can’t grip them.2. Using the crusher, pusher doesn’t help and strains the motor. If you do use it, it must be done slowly.3. It does work but if you want to truly get the seeds and skin out you need to put them through twice.4. It’s messy. I mean really messy. If you put too many pieces in the top, the grinder can’t keep up and the excess will go out towards the mixer. The acid in the tomatoes will react with the metal leaving the mixer with a black residue that doesn’t easily clean up.I suggest using this only for meaty, paste tomatoes and not slicers. The sauce is indeed thin, there will be no chunkiness in it, so if you want any kind of chunks, this is not for you. I will use it again but it won’t be used exclusively for my sauces.

This is a great product at a fantastic price. I had use one made by kitchen aid and was thinking of buying one for myself. Looked at the price and thought I’d check out Amazon.The differences between kitchen aids seeder and this one is almost none existent. If you have a kitchen aid grinder you’ll prefer using that end cap instead of the end cap from this grinder. The housing sits better on Kitchen Aids end cap. If you don’t it will be a little touchy to get the housing to stay on but it will work.The best tip I can give someone who need to do a bushels of tomatoes is to scape down metal cone with knife. This will keep the juice flowing. Stop regulars to clean out cone of seeds and skins. Say after a bushel.Not for grapes and fruits with bigger seeds that tomatoes. These can seize up machine and break the screen, forcing you to buy another seeder screen or a new unit.Finally, you can do 5x the amount of tomatoes in the time it take you to do it in the hand crank systems. You’ll also get more juice per tomato.

This product was easy to assemble and appeared sturdy. I followed the instruction booklet for assembly and usage. Unfortunately, as I was processing blackberries the strainer broke. I purchased this device in August, but used it for the first time today. I can no longer return the product, but would gladly order a replacement part if I could figure out how ....Update as of 10/17/23Wow, I am impressed! Olson Inc. Reached out to me and offered to replace the broken strainer. The new strainers(they sent me 2) arrived as they stated.This device does an awesome job processing tomatoes. My suggestion if you process black berries is to totally clean out the strainer to prevent the backup of seeds.Thanks again for caring about your customers and reaching out to help.

This has been used and abused every year during tomato season. It is a very nice product. I have canned over 300 quart jars with this tool. I recommend it to anybody!

After using a hand crank saucer for years, I really wanted to love this. We process tons of tomato sauce and applesauce every year, and hoped that this would make the process quicker and easier. If it had worked properly, it would have been perfect, but unfortunately, the cheap materials and craftsmanship broke the first time I used it. I followed all the directions and assembled it properly, but a small piece of the plastic auger broke off during the saucing and ended up at the end of the screen, causing more of the plastic to warp and break. I didn't realize what happened until we finished the batch of tomatoes, so we had to do an extra step of straining the sauced tomatoes to make sure there were no bits of plastic in our food!We will be returning immediately, as I have no faith that replacement parts will work any better than the one that broke - the plastic parts are poor quality, and as others have noted, the seam on the metal screen seems like it could split at any moment. Will definitely be looking at other saucer attachments for my KitchenAid, as the concept is very promising if made properly.Edit: I have adjusted my rating to 3 stars, as the customer service is excellent! The seller reached out right after my review posted, and asked to send a replacement set, which arrived within a few days. I have used this new strainer several times and so far its working great!

I had a huge harvest of tomatos. I was so overwhelmed by how to deseed and peel and store them. Then I found out about this tool. It works great! Strains the peel and seeds out and gives you pure tomato juice. It splats a.little when you try to ram the tomatos from.top with the rammer they have given.Assembly is easy, Easy to clean. I will be using it again and again. Hopefully I will try other attachments too!I wish it had a storage case as I cant fit everything back in the box 😁

This grinder works great. Grinds meat up to a T. So easy to attach and use. Highly recommended.

This grinder worked very well to grind up some ground beef. It was moderately easy to clean. The quality of the grinder is quote heavy materials and feels like it will last a long time. I'm happy with the performance,especially for the price.
