UPDATED TO 5 STARS... because boy howdy, was I mistaken!!Compared to the Mens Assurance, these are worth every single penny and are quite absorbent. Still happy that the leg openings are sized appropriately for S/M (as opposed to the Assurance... the details are listed below in the original review). I am only using the Depend as overnights currently, because I sorta freaked out last pandemic season during the toilet paper hoarding and hoarded diapers a little 😬 I'll honestly be really happy when I've used up all the Assurance I bought up and can start using just these Depend. Subscribe & Save makes them comparable in cost and they are probably more absorbent than the big box monstermart knockoffs.3.5 Stars - Rounded up to 4 because this one detail:The leg holes are actually normal sized. My son has a 26 maybe 27 waist. The leg openings on all the disposable incontinence products for men's S/M seem to made for men with 28" waists and 40" legs. It's bizarre... and annoying. He wakes up in the mornings, frequently, with a soaked bed and semi-dry incontinence brief because his 'junk' fell out the ginormous leg opening. I put boxer briefs about a size too small (boys XL) on him and that helps somewhat.These new Depend aren't anymore absorbent than the knockoff big box monster store offering, but they do have an appropriately sized leg opening. I'll keep a pack on hand for special occasions, like when I'm in dire need of a full nights uninterrupted sleep or I'm not feeling well (solo parent, solo caregiver), but otherwise they're just too expensive for me for every night.

I use these nightime pull-up diapers to exercise. I have heavy urge incontinence and rely on tabbed diapers to keep me dry and protected day and night. Unfortunately, a tabbed diaper is not very comfortable to run or bike in while wearing. Enter Depend Night Defense. They fit snugly and hug my waist and bottom. They absorb 1-2 hours worth of urine and keep me feeling dry and comfy. The padding stays together when wet and doesnt bunch up between my legs. The padding does swell quite a bit as it absorbs urine, but is still comfortable to wear. I rarely get leaks. The odor control is excellent. They feel great to run in and dont show under my running shorts. They are very quiet, only a slight crinkle when moving. I recommend them to anyone who needs absorbent underwear when they exercise.

I like the depends, the absorbency does a pretty good job, there has been some leakage, would like more material around the edge of the product to avoid gaps where leakage can occur. Very comfortable! Would purchase again

Purchased for a friend of mine. He said they work great.

These are better at preventing leaks and messiness than regular Depends, but they do leak. My husband is incontinent in every way possible, so any improvement is most welcome. I think in his case the leaking problem is caused by insufficiently snug fit around the legs. Maybe there needs to be a small(er) size and let the current sm/med become medium?

They were easy to pull on, for the elderly man I took care. Quite absorbent.

If you want a leakproof adult diaper you'll have to go to tab style, overnight diapers. Every single pull-up style we've tried for our family member with Parkinson's wicks through the pull-up webbing. With the pull-up style diaper, if we wait for more than a few minutes, everything on and around the person is tinged with moisture, and it all must be taken off and laundered immediately.

I use these for my husband who has severe motor and memory issues from cancer treatment. These are the best I've found so far for overnight wear. They are easy for him for when he can get to the bathroom, but hold up for nights he can't.

This product adds so much confidence when travelling for several hours. If washrooms are not always available when frequently needed, "accidents" are not a worry.

These were the best thing to have on hand when I had Covid for 11 days . Just a little added security for night time . Never thought I would wear these but some parts of Covid were so vile and uncontrollable they were a treasure to have , for those just in case moments . lol

These do their job well. Quality made, and have coloured strip inside to easily differentiate between the nighttime briefs and Depends daytime briefs. The briefs are grey in colour, and have comfortable, flexible fitted waist and legs. Very helpful for aging seniors and others dealing with incontinence. It is challenging to find these nighttime briefs by Depend in stores in Canada, so we were grateful to have found them on Amazon when needing them for a parent.
