They work just as expected fits perfect in my dash without being super bulky nice touch to my sound system to be able to cut off my subwoofers without having to cut off all my music

I've installed a couple of these so far. I have not had any problems soldering them. No issues with any plastic melting or loosening of the switch lugs. I tin the wires first and use 60/40 solder.

An excellent small toggle switch for low power applications. Very durable and easy to install. Functions as designed and last a long time.

These switches worked, but not without some tweaking. We ordered 2 identical packs. They were made completely opposite from each other. Ultimately, they worked, but we had to take the post out and turn it around so the groove would be on the same side on all of them. They seem a little bit cheap and thin, so hopefully they hold up over time.

My personal experience with these switches has been great so far: I was able to comfortably fit TWO of them (a series/parallel switch and an out of phase switch) in between my Telecaster’s volume and tone knobs with a centimeter or two to spare. I experienced none of the melting that other reviewers described, and while this could be because I was quick with my soldering iron, there were a few times where I was holding my iron against a pole for quite a while. Currently, the two switches in my guitar feel pretty sturdy, and there is no detectable “play” or wiggling. I really was impressed, so if you are looking at these to put in a guitar (there were hardly any reviews that mentioned guitar) go ahead and do it; for the price they are excellent.

Gave em a 4 only because many of the mounting washers are slightly bent from the stamp out process but the lock washers were fine And all my nuts were fine on the SPST & SPDT. Have low contact resistance and good consistent bat handle tension between all units…had no melting problems when soldering I’d buy again

It could be me, but trying to solder to the connections is a tall order. Much too small and plastic melts at what seems to me as a low temp.

I installed one of these to switch a battery charger from one battery to another in a very confined space. . It is working.
