Review on ESPRO PO Ultralight
Love this item. Works very well for travelers. I'm ordering Espro P7. 32oz. The amount of coffee I can make is one cup with the Espro PO Ultralight. So if you drink one cup 12oz to 13 oz it's perfect but my preference is a larger serving size. Hope this helps. It also keeps coffee hot for about an hour. I made a second cup while I drank the first cup. An hour later it was still piping hot. 2 hour mark temp drops to 128ยฐ F. 3 hour mark temp drops to 100ยฐF. Had to reheat it. Makes delicious coffee with finely ground fresh medium roasted beans. Smooth, gritless coffee. Extracts every bit of flavor. So use quality single source coffee that is roasted fresh within a few weeks if possible to get best results.

Nice size, well made, easy to use
I'm really happy with my new, small French press. It exudes quality (made in China) and makes very good coffee. The two "basket" strainers, one coarser than the other, do an excellent job of keeping the grounds out of the coffee to pour. The only issue I have is one that is common to all the French presses. What to do with the leftover grounds in a soup at the bottom. I have always been very good at putting the left over grounds from the drip coffee maker into the trash bin (or as compost) since they are pretty "dry". This is helpful to the local water treatment plant as grounds can clog up their system and the chemical compounds take more work and chemicals to clean out of the water before discharge. I don't like throwing the soup in the trash bin because it would really be a mess if it leaks. But the trash bags are water tight so if I am careful that isn't a problem. As noted, that is not a special problem with my new Espro press as I like it very much. I would buy one of the larger ones should I ever need to replace my old one.

Good for traveling
Nice product. I didnโt think it would work well since it was kind of light and felt dainty. But it works great and the espresso is quite good. Just a problem cleaning the canister. But thatโs always an issue with French presses. Will recommend. Good product, I travel with it everywhere.

Perfect for travel
My wife found this for me before a long trip, I couldnโt be happier. My coffee was hot and strong and zero grounds in my mouth.

Very clean coffee
So amazing that I want to give a review. I want to have make my own coffee to save money. Do not have too much needs on the quality. I want to something quick, small, easy to use since I want to do it my workplace. The only worry I have before buying is that it will give too much residues. However, the coffee is very clean(cleaner than the Starbucks coffee I buy).

A new addition to my traveling kit.
My job requires me to travel. I spend weeks at a time in hotels. Most hotel coffee machines, regardless of make, being absolute shite, I travel with a French press. I have gone through a couple before purchasing this Espro. None of them were optimal. One had a huge handle that was just bulky. Another had a smaller compartment in the bottom that you could store another couple of tablespoons of ground coffee, another feature I never used. I have been using this Espro press for a week and couldn't be more satisfied. It is light (I have my packing list down to an art; I usually weigh in at somewhere between 48-49 lbs), which is important, it lacks bells and whistles for which I have no need and it makes a great cup of joe. The double screen keeps out grounds while allowing the all-important oils to filter through. Perhaps even more important, and I cannot stress this enough because it is rather unique, it pours clean; no dribbling from the rim while you pour your cup. I was completely thrilled with this aspect. My only concern, and it is a small one, is that the gaskets that provide the seal around the circumference of the plunger and top are silicone instead of the usual metal spring. I will be interested to see how long they last, given the constant friction of moving up and down in the cylinder. Hopefully Espro sells replacement parts so that I can continue to use this excellent product well into the future. Cheers

too messy for me
the seal and suction are so tight that when I would remove the filter plunger after use, it makes a mess. I tried a couple times, and when no matter how slowly and carefully I try, when the plunger seal comes out of the canteen, the pressure makes the wet coffee grounds pop out with it and spray all over. Never had that problem with any other french press before, so I'm returning this one. Also, the way the drinking opening is designed, it's messy to add cream to the coffee. It does keep it at a hot temperature much better and much longer than I expected from just looking at it, though. They got that part right. And the double filter along with that tight sealing gasket does keep all the coffee grounds out of the coffee.
