Bought to bring an 80's campervan into the 21st century.With just one 12vsocket in the front of the the campervan, it was a hassle to charge things up sometimes, when you're sitting in the back whilst camping.Now we can not only keep various 12v devices charged, but the battery voltage display means we can easily keep an eye on how the leisure battery is doing.Should have done something like this years ago.

Perfect, does what it says on the tin.Slight problem of fuse blowing at first because I connected the switch the wrong way, the diagram was slightly different to the setup but I got there in the end. Took me about an hour to set up. First timer

Solid piece of kit that looks the part when fitted. A back box would be a useful addition to ensure that the connections are protected, depending on where it's fitted.

Despite the assurances on the description that this unit is protected against incorrect wiring, it isn't.I followed the instructions exactly as shown in the diagram, and the thing fried the switch as soon as it was connected.I wired the various 12v cigarette lighter ports in parallel as shown, and the voltmeter and usb ports too. These ports show a bronze connector as the + one and a silver connector as the - one. However, the switch has 3 ports, one bronze and 2 silver, and according to the wiring diagram, the centre silver pin is the +, which makes you think the other silver pin is also a + and the bronze one is the -. This is the opposite of how the other pins are wired up.Totally confusing for anyone with zero electrical knowledge is bound to mess this up as I did.Now, after spending £28 on this unit, I am having to buy another set of toggle switches in the hope that I eventually stumble across the correct way to wire it up.Something like this should be sold pre-wired to avoid accidents.

Vorweg: ich hab das hier gekaufte Panel mit Teilen von A**expre** aufgefüllt, bzw ersetzt.Ich habe mir das Panel für meinen Lkw geholt, wollte mehr Ordnung auf der Ablage haben als es mit einem "normalen" Verteiler der Fall ist. Außerdem hat es mich immer gestört, dass die meisten Verteiler mehr 12V-Anschlüsse als USB-Stecker haben, so dass man quasi gezwungen ist, einen Adapter in die 12V-Dosen zu packen. Mit diesem modularen System fällt das jetzt ja endlich weg.Die einzelnen USB-Anschlüsse haben An-/Ausschalter, die 12V-Dose leider nicht, ergo habe ich den beigefügten Schalter ans Ende der Reihe gesetzt, nur für die 12er-Dose, was in direkter Linie zu meinem einzigen Kritikpunkt führt, aber dazu später.Laut Bauanleitung soll das Panel bzw der erste Anschluß direkt an die Batterie geklemmt werden, was bei einem Lkw bauartbedingt nicht ganz einfach ist (Batterie sitzt hinter dem Fahrerhaus), also hab ich einfach mal testen wollen, ob es auch an eine 12V- bzw 24V-Dose angeklemmt werden kann und siehe da: es klappt. Laut der Voltanzeige kommt die komplette Leistung auch am Gerät an, was den Einbau und ggfs auch Ausbau natürlich erheblich vereinfacht.Zur Stabilität kann ich nicht allzuviel sagen, da ich das Panel vertikal eingebaut habe.Jetzt aber zum Kritikpunkt: die beigefügten Flachsteckerhülsen sind "Einbahnstraßen", will sagen: entweder ich lasse alle Dosen an einem Sammelverteiler starten oder ich mache es wie in der Bauanleitung beschrieben in Reihe und muss dazu neue Hülsen mit Abzweigung holen, die gibts aber für wenig Geld in jedem Baumarkt, siehe dazu das zweite eingefügte Bild, dass in der Rezi aus irgendwelchen Gründen zuerst angzeigt wird. ;) Links der Originalstecker, rechts der dazugekaufte. Welcher macht eurer Meinung bei Reihenschaltung mehr Sinn? ;-)
