The photo shows me holding the recharging device as it recharges the original OEM Sony battery for a Cyber-Shot DSC-W810. Yes the device works very well. You can see the bright display and the level of battery - both. The OEM battery which had not worked for years immediately began to charge. The charge took minutes - not hours. I purchased this rechargeable battery set for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-w810. My spell checker didn’t like Cyber-shot and substituted an i for an o which was funny but certainly not Amazon friendly. The main points: - The device works as advertised. - The device arrived fast. - The device kit is a good value for what you get when compared to the price. My story: Yes, this item recharged an OEM original battery that had not worked since 2016. This device recharged the battery to 100 percent within minutes. I placed the original battery into the device. The OEM battery worked immediately and continues to work. I had not viewed the photos on the camera since 2016. As I was cleaning after several surgeries, I found the camera. The photos were a few really good shots of a trip along the southern USA. I’m waiting for additional purchases to upload the photos to my laptop. The two additional batteries that arrived with the unit were partially charged. Both worked in the camera. I recharged both of the new batteries. I like that the new batteries had their own little cases. I numbered each battery so I always know which one has been charged. I like that the recharger works FAST. I thought I’d be waiting for hours. Instead, I waited minutes. Wow! The cable does not work in the port that transfers data to the computer. I have ordered one from Amazon. When I know that the data cable works, I will report back here. Maybe my research can save the next person some time. Time is our number one non renewable resource. There is no substitute for lost time. I appreciate the other reviewers who shared their time with me and continue to pay forward my appreciation by writing reviews which for me is time well-spent. I am including a photo of how the device looks when the USB (Universal Serial Bus) is plugged into an AC adapter‘s USB port. Remember - you must have your own AC adapter for the USB to plug into. I’m sure that end of the USB has a fancy high tech name . I call it “USB thingy.” If you are new to using the Cybershot W810 version and you need accessories, I highly recommend ordering this device for its speed. I have not tried using the recharger with the car charger. I have ordered several power packs from Amazon and recommend that you get a power pack if you plan to use the recharger away from an electrical source because the OEM battery never lasted beyond a few pictures. I like that the recharger clearly shows the battery charge level. Taking movies quickly drains the battery. With the total of 3 batteries, a power pack will allow me to keep charging the batteries as I take pictures. In addition, I recommend purchasing another storage disc because high quality photos and videos use the disc space very quickly. I purchased a SanDisk Ultra micoSDXC 64 GB and card reader at the same time that I purchased the recharger. At the original purchase time, 8GB was the standard. 8GB is not enough space if you plan to use the camera a lot. I’m also ordering a carrying case to hold the camera and accessories. I suspect that I lost the original accessories because they were not stored together. I supposed I’ll find the accessories now that I’ve ordered the replacements. Like old people, old tech is not bad tech. Sometimes we just need a few parts replaced to do a great job again. I’m glad that I purchased this recharger package and plan to buy duplicate accessories for gear that I plan to use for a long time. If you found this review helpful, please give it a vote.

I bought this Pickle Power set as a backup for my Sony Cyber Shot, and it’s been a total win. Both batteries hold charge just like the original, and the charger is super compact perfect for travel or throwing in my camera bag. I tested them during a long day of shooting outdoors, and they easily kept up with constant video and photo use. The charge time is quick, and I love that the charger uses USB, so I can power it from my car or power bank. Great value for the price feels solid and dependable. Highly recommend for anyone who doesn’t want to run out of juice while using!

Worked for not less than 10 minutes. Started off by showing battery percentage, then stopped displaying anything at all. Tried charging the batteries it came with and it won’t turn on….

I bought this for an elderly friend, so l showed her how to use it. A good product. Charger was easy to use and the display to notify you of the percentage was clear. I would recommend this product. Very light-weight too.

Didn't realize it was not a direct plug in as the original, but works well.
