HOCl is amazing!
This is my 3rd HOCl machine, not because they break or go bad quickly but because my other two are large and I wanted something I could easily travel with to disinfect hotel rooms etc. I use this for soooo many things but one of my favorites is a burn. I was in Florida and got a terrible sunburn. I sprayed this on my face every hour and before I went to bed I wished I had sprayed it in my whole body. It helps stop the sunburn pain as well. I often use this one my dogs and thoroughbred horses for hot spots and cuts. I sometimes use it at 100 ppm or run it again as soon as it’s done to get to 200 ppm. It’s not my favorite cleaner per se.. I actually clean things with Sals Suds then spray with my HOCl to disinfect and or deodorize. It’s much better than any spray deodorizer in the bathroom. It gets rid of smells without a terrible fake fruity smell. I also like to just spray it in a room to clean the air. I’ve also noticed for certain bugs it’s a great bug spray. I think it was at 200 ppm when I used it on a spider. When I ran an Airbnb I used it for everything and left a card starting the home was cleaned with HOCl and a notebook with information about the product and how it’s sent neutral and much stronger than bleach but pet and child friendly. HOCl is a wonderful facial and or body spray. It’s great right after a shower too. It doesn’t dry your skin but helps with any acne or wounds. It’s perfect on your legs right after shaving as well. I’ve used this stuff for about a decade now. I make it for my daughter’s but plan on buying them a Force of Nature machine because of the size since they travel for AAU a lot. For their hotel and for sanitizing their hands etc. The bottle that comes with it is ok but the sprayer will eventually stop working. Don’t throw it out just buy a new spray nozzle from Amazon that is made for chemicals. Just cut the inside plastic down to the right size and it’s working again. If you want your HOCl to last longer than 2 weeks use a glass Amber bottle with a chemical spray nozzle. I’ve had it last much longer than 30 days. HOCl is light and temperature sensitive so I keep mine out of the light even in an amber bottle. It’s not that the HOCl necessarily just stops working after two weeks unless it’s in the sun or a hot/cold area. If in a dark bottle and temperature protected the ppm just starts going down but it’s still usable to many things. With a little research you can find out what’s disinfected by what ppm and ph. I’d recommend buying some chlorine ppm strips and some chlorine ph test strips. The vinegar in the capsules help keep the HOCl close to a 5 ph and I believe the force of nature machine finishes at about 100 ppm. I sometimes like mine around 200 ppm so I run it twice when I want it stronger. You can buy both strips from amazon. It’s just nice to know where the solution is, then after two weeks check to see if it’s still at a 5 ph and where the ppm is at before you throw it out. Put about an oz in with your fresh cut flowers.. they love it. I’ve seen HOCl sold on this site specifically for skin or diaper rash at $30 for 3 oz. This is the same thing, you’re just making it yourself without preservatives. If you want to use it on your skin just run the machine once to make sure you can use it, I’m sensitive and have never had anything but a good experience with it. I could go on and on.. if you have time to research you will find that HOCl was used in WWll to treat and disinfect wounds. It gained popularity again during Covid because it could be easily fogged in schools, homes and businesses safely. It’s FDA approved and is considered safe around food, some restaurants clean their meat with HOCl. It can be used as a degreaser when made with potassium carbonate (salt) rather than regular salt. However the capsules force of nature use regular salt.. so keep it simple and don’t use force of nature as a degreaser, it really doesn’t do much in this form.

Perfect bleach alternative and easy to make
I have a big family and a lot of pets so I am always looking for cleaners that get the job done but are safe. I also LOVE the smell of bleach because it makes me feel like I’m killing germs. But bleach isn’t a safe cleaning option for most jobs so when I found this I was reluctant and excited to try. Very easy to make. See in my video, I fill with distilled water to the fill line, then you pour in one of the packets and then hit the button and let science do the rest. The light will start blue then turn green when it’s ready to use. Pour in the spray bottle and go! No excuses for this being complicated and the packets themselves take very little space in my drawer. Also it’s kind of fun and your kids will enjoy making it. They include easy instructions and you can choose to leave it plugged in if you want to use the day counter so you can remember when the batch expires. It will turn red to remind you. I don’t use the counter because I can usually tell by the smell. In the beginning it has a strong smell of bleach BUT THIS IS NOT BLEACH. As the batch gets older that will fade and I make a new batch. I am buying another starter kit for my parents for Christmas because they are impossible to buy for but they love all natural food and products. If you know of someone that loves to clean/organize and you need a gift for them, this is great. Usually cleaning products would seem rude but somehow this feels elite and sustainable making it the perfect gift. I have been using the same system for a couple of years with no issues. The starter kit price fluctuates. I originally got mine for around $85 here on Amazon but just paid a little over $90 for Black Friday 2025. If you are reading this and want it but can’t afford their current price, add it to your list and watch it until they run a sale. I use this in my kitchen, bathroom and it’s mostly used on my floors for pet accidents. I can spray generously without worrying about the cost or it being dangerous for my pets. The only negative is their spray bottle is terrible. I used it twice and invested in a commercial spray bottle immediately. I hope they improve it one day. It’s a great size for their starter kit box but it leaks and doesn’t provide the experience this product deserves. I love it. My brain is tricked into thinking I’m using bleach. It cleans very well and is safe for most surfaces so it’s multi purpose.

I continue to be amazed by how well this product works! I’ve now used it on my windows (squeaky clean), stainless steel appliances (such shine), in my Swifer mop (no streaky residue left behind), on my dog’s raw dog food dish (now bacteria free), bathroom tub/sink/toilet (used twice to eliminate initial soap scum build up in tub), and everything in-between (even a quick spritz on my hands to eliminate unwanted bacteria). I have yet to be disappointed and I dare say neither will you, if you purchase this product. I intend to take a bottle with me on camping trips this summer-I’m sure I can find lots of uses for it there as well. FYI, it has a slight ‘bleachy’ smell but that dissipates quickly.
